Chrome runs fine for me in terms of loading pages and the like but it always causes my laptop's fan to get going. Firefox doesn't and I doubt Edge would, especially since Edge doesn't have any extensions yet. Similar to Craig, I have a decently spec'd PC with a SSD and 8gb of ram but yeah, Chrome seems to push it to the limit.

After finally getting the Windows 10 upgrade/clean install process down pat, I'm enjoying the new OS. I went from 7 to 10 and had limited experience with 8/8.1, mostly through work, so I can't really comment about it compared to that, but I think this is a good successor to Windows 7.

I would say download the driver from Dell's website (see if they have drivers for your exact model), uninstall the current touchpad driver and install whatever they recommend instead. When I did the clean install for Windows 10, it uses a different Synaptics touchpad driver than the one I was using prior which was specifically from my manufacturer's website and the trackpad was definitely worse. As soon as I uninstalled the driver that came with it and manually installed the one from my manufacturer, it started working much better.

I'm curious if Google goes with two Nexus this time around. I've read about the rumors of a 5.2" LG Nexus and then a bigger Huawei Nexus, but we'll see. I've mostly read about the Huawei one so I feel like that's a lock.

On a different note, I upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro. That went fine until I decided I wanted to do a clean install. Apparently the way Microsoft keeps track of your product key is through your Microsoft account. So if you don't sign into it after you upgrade to Windows 10 and then decide to do a clean install, you're screwed. Microsoft doesn't show you your product key, or at least not the right one (the one it showed on my upgrade started with a 0 and was very different than traditional MS keys), so if you do a clean install they have no way of detecting whether or not you have a valid copy of Windows. So now I have to downgrade from 10 to Windows 7 (which my laptop doesn't have a disc drive so yay!), upgrade from 7 to 10, make sure I sign in to Microsoft, and then I can do the clean install. Tremendous.

I'm currently upgrading from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10. After the upgrade completes, I want to do a factory reset (I heard this was built into Windows 8) so that Windows 10 will install clean.
Here's my question/situation: I currently have a solid state drive (C drive) which is largely just the operating system and some programs. All my pictures and music are stored on a traditional hard drive (D drive). If I do the factory reset, does it give me the option to only wipe the SSD/C drive or will it automatically wipe that and the traditional hard drive/D drive?

Anyone here have the G4? Taking a long hard look at it when I upgrade since I'm really unhappy with Samsung abandoning the SD slot with the S6.
The new Motorola Style (Pure as it's being called in the US) that was announced today has a micro SD slot. It's not available through any carrier but it's $399 off contract which isn't bad. I don't know if it'll be better than the G4 but I imagine it won't be any worse in any area except the camera is a wildcard.

New Moto X(s) also official. Looks like a bigger Moto X 2014. I'm a little disappointed by Moto's presser. The phone with the 1080p screen (not available in the US, btw) has a 3,630mah battery but the phone with the QHD screen has a 3,000mah battery. Makes no sense. Also, no optical image stabilization will hold back the camera even though it's 21 megapixels. I applaud them for going carrier free this time around but I'm not sure US customers are ready for that as a whole. Looks like I'll still be content with my Nexus 6 for a while.

For everyone saying that since we've "forgiven" Austin for his domestic abuse, we'll eventually "forgive" Hogan for his racist remarks, I'm not sure it's quite the same. I kinda feel like it's easier for people to move on from Austin's past just because it wasn't really ever a big deal. Like, how many people even know about Austin and Debra's abuse? I'm not even sure how many wrestling fans know about it. However, everyone now knows Hogan's comments. I don't think you'll be able to bring up Hogan to someone and not mention his remarks. Had Austin's domestic abuse been a huge story and/or happened now where there's been a re-energized women's movement and social media platforms which didn't exist 12 years ago, I'm not sure people would be so "forgiving" towards Austin.

How much of it talks about his days in ROH/the indies in general? As someone who attended a bunch of ROH shows from 04-08, I'd be interested if he went in depth in his time there but would also understand if it was kinda glossed over.

Holding Out For a Hero has a special place in my heart because it's in Short Circuit 2 when Johnny 5 goes badass after the heels give him a beatdown.
They should show that scene at the Performance Center when teaching the kids how to make a fiery babyface comeback.
They pretty much already have the "being robotic" part down.

Hey look! A new ipod!
Picked one up last night. 64gb Touch. First Apple device I've had in about 8 years. I had a Zune forever but it died. I've been using my tablet at the gym but it's cumbersome. I wanted a device to put my music on that would be smaller and was gonna buy a 5th gen Touch but figured a new one would be coming soon. I enjoy it for what it is and it serves my needs. I didn't want to use my phone because with it being a Nexus 6, it's not all that much smaller than the Nexus 7 I've been using. All that said, being that this is my first legit foray into iOS, I don't think I could ever switch to an iPhone. I hate not having an always on-screen back button.

The Manhattan Center is apparently too expensive to run nowadays. They jacked up the prices while/after TNA was there. (Source: Court Bauer)
IIRC, it's $100k to run an event there and the raised rent is why ROH no longer runs the Manhattan Center.

My gut feeling is that the invasion/WWF vs WCW was always fated to be Vince McMahon's Victory Lap. Especially with Sting/Goldberg/Flair/Hogan Hall and Nash having fuck you/stay home money and sitting that first year out (and much longer in Sting's case). That made it all the easier to book them as The Washington Generals. But WCW in WWF was always going to be that.
I do wonder that if Vince had been able to sign all the WCW big names, if he would have booked the angle differently. Perhaps he figured that since he wasn't gonna get WCW's biggest stars, he might as well just sit back and enjoy world domination.

As a 9 year old kid, I thought it was pretty wild just because we weren't yet in the era where shock/out of no where turns happened all the time. I never figured it would happen and like cwoy pointed out, it did kinda make sense. Yeah, it would have been better with a WWF guy and Giant's turn probably let WCW feel that they could just put anyone in the nWo, but I think the initial angle itself was decent enough. I kinda feel like no one else who joined after The Giant should have joined. Having a group of really good-elite stars would have been way better than just a large group with a bunch of members. I think it would have also lessened the nWo burnout because it would have meant less nWo on the show but who knows. Ultimately, we know that all WCW knew was nWo=money and they were gonna go all in even if it killed them.

I wouldn't have had a problem with them eventually adding Randy Savage but I thought the timing was off and he joined too soon, not to mention he kinda got lost in the shuffle. His feud with DDP was great but he never felt like a main player anymore, at least not the same way he was presented pre-heel turn.

I played about 60% of AA, really liked it but my save got corrupted (what year is this?) and I never went back to it. Also never played Arkham City. Is this a linear trilogy like Gears of War or Halo or is Arkham Knight a standalone where I could pick it up and not feel like I'm out of place by not finishing AA or playing AC?

I thought the episode was terrible. Some of the dialogue was laughably bad. You guys seem to be way higher on the Farrell character than I am. I'm gonna stick it out but I have less hope now than I did going into it which was already pretty small.
