Does Zimmerman belong in jail? Morally and ethically, yes; legally, no. I can appreciate the passion on twitter, but keep in mind all those pussies would piss their pants if they ever saw him in person. If Zimmerman happened to be killed (I'm not advocating it) like travon martin it would be poetic justice,  not real justice. Karma is a bitch and he will pay for his actions in this life or the next(Assuming there is one). As for the politics it's just going to get worse. As the demographics in this country continue to change, and the white population continues to shrink(in proportion if not actual numbers), a certain segment of the population will fell more and more threatened. When that happens more "incidents" will occur. . . Part of that is tied up in terms of "liberal" and "conservative", but it goes deeper than that,  and in  the South, where all the slavery baggage is still present(though it will continue to very slowly fade), it may linger more and more, as other parts of the country "evolve" away from it. . . OR I am totally full of shit(which is possible)

I don't know how much purorseu you've been watching but I've heard that NJPW has been on fire this year.

 

I've mostly just been watching what they put up on 24/7. The first two or three months of 1999 WWF have aged much better than I thought they would, though I haven't reached the part yet where Russo reverses the Road Dogg and Billy Gunn WrestleMania matches just to be swervetastic.

I don't watch TNA all the time so this might not be anything groundbreaking, but Taz is just hideous on commentary. I was fine with him playing the straight color commentator, but as the Aces & Eights shill he's just cringeworthy bad. Like, almost as bad as 2013 Jerry Lawler. And that's bad.

Yeah I found the Deb stuff in the premiere to be awful but much more manageable in the second episode. I think I was subconsciously connecting Deb's drug usage to Jack Bauer's drug usage in season 3 of 24 and well, that part of 24 sucked.

I never posted in the old Dexter thread (I didn't catch up with the show until this past Monday.. I had watched the first half of season 1 like a year ago and didn't resume watching the show until about two months ago) but figured with this being the final season it'd need its own thread by the next episode.

 

I wonder if they stray away from a Dexter love interest this season and focus more on Deb's demons.

 

Random stuff I thought of while marathoning the show: I wonder what happened between Angel and Barbara between seasons three and four. I don't recall their ever being an explanation about how he moved from her to LaGuerta.

 

Who was watching Harrison on New Year's Eve in the season 7 finale?

 

Did Hannah McKay really have to poison Deb? She was hot, was fine with Dexter doing his thing and made him homemade cookies to wake up to. Sounds perfect.

 

Was Quinn's randomly messy hair a running gag or something? I feel like it got to the point where his hair was always perfectly styled except for one part that always looked wind damaged or slept on.

 

Doakes might have been the worst acted character I've ever seen on a critically acclaimed show.
