If you listen to the current New Japan commentary vertical suplexes and all variants and moves resembling them are called brainbusters, every single time. But hat isn't a new thing a all.

I didn't want to do this, but in the end I did. If anyone is interested on around 15+ pages on the G1 Climax and what people thought about it (that's write, we talked about people talking about the G1!), I wrote about that here.

Forgot about this, can't wait to dig into this list in December!

Wasn't my favorite at the time but I really appreciate Eddie's run as sleazebag frenemy right before his death. He had to go so far out to get booed and then rode it all the way back.
I was also going to mention this, going from terrible, child stealing, heel to world's most loveable babyface was awesome. There have also been a few that I have liked from Punk, the original Summer of Punk, Straight Edge Society, 2011 Summer of Punk and WWE title run were all tremendous. I may be in the minority here, but I also thought that Christian's run in TNA as world champion was pretty good from a performance aspect. Clearly the material was at times lackluster, but in terms of performance I liked seeing Christian in that role. 2000-2002 era old man Tenryu was also pretty awesome.

I have seen the first four nights, and I can honestly say that this is probably the best G1 that I have ever seen at least at this stage - just stellar stuff across the board. Ishii has been fantastic. I expect that they are going to have Nakamura and Shibata in the finals, and then have Nakamura win the whole thing to set up partner versus partner, Okada/Nakamura for the Dome.

I would be interested from a visitor standpoint, but the extend of my VHS collection is WWE TV from the early 2000s so that isn't going to help anyone. However, I would certainly try to support the site if it were ever started.

I decided to start Earthbound on my iPad using a WiiMote as a controller, and have really being enjoying it; maybe as much as I have any RPG from that era. I also managed to get Cave Story to work on the same device using the save file from my PC together with the WiiMote, so that has been great too.

I heard that Ni No Kuni was very good - it's right at the top of my want to play list.

I don't know if manga discussion really belongs here. However, I am reading Ishinomori's Kamen Rider at the moment, and I am finding the depiction of Batman and Spiderman rather comical. From what I have gathered they are the evil henchmen of the show, as for why they chose the American comic heroes, I do not know.

I'm primarily a fan of atmospheric/dark anime like Boogiepop Phantom, Paranoia Agent, Another, and Monster. Aside from that, I like comedy in the vein of Cromartie High School, FLCL and Welcome to the NHK!...favorite of all time is probably Fist of the North Star, however. Anyone have any recommendations along those lines that might be a little more obscure, yet possible to track down?
You may like Hi no Tori.

Finished watching Shin Getter Robo the other day and thought that it was tremendous. I marathoned through the entire thing with a friend, which made the whole experience even better, but I still thing that I would have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it even if he hasn't have come over. Go Nagai is a great human being.

I remember a few months back when I tried to make it from the first page of the old picture thread to the last - suffice to say very little work was done during that period. Still, as a result I have a ton of pictures from that thread on my old computer. The hard drive is fine, too bad everything is not.

Anime: Anime World Order, Ninja Consultants, AAA
Games: Fast Karate for the Gentleman, Analogue Shtick
I haven't really found any video game podcasts besides Fast Karate for the Gentleman and AS that have really struck my fancy, although there are tons of good shows for anime out there.
