Is anyone else watching Orphan Black? Pretty fun.
The storyline is a bit predictable, but balanced out by how amazing Tatiana Maslany is in the lead role.

I'm surprised WWE is making this front page news. Hopefully that doesn't encourage more would be cock punchers to pursue their 15 minutes.

The We The People chants are sad...
Not so much because it paints Americans as dumb racists, but that WWE fans are trained monkeys hitting cues.

Tyler Breeze is pretty great. That is all.

Batista is almost convincing me to watch this.
I'm sure Marvel will be relieved.

That's always the case, though. Everything's all bright and shiny after the big event, but the status quo soon returns.
All of the terrible shit instantly goes away, too. We've been conditioned not to care about anything that happens in comics. Like, most of the world got broken in half in Fear Itself and it didn't even matter. There's a throwaway line about autism rates rising by like 8000% or something over a panel of a mountain sized stack of bodies by the Eiffel Tower or something.
And who cared?
No one, I guess. It gets harder and harder to find a sense of stakes in Marvel Comics lately, unless it's something small scale that effects a character I like.

Orange is the New Black is fantastic

Tazz is probably the answer. "Least imposing" big guy is interesting though - Yeti? El Gigante?
Tyler Mane as Big Sky?

Random Youtube shit. Tatanka headlining a show in Sweden earlier this year:

I think that the moment you fully understand that wrestling is fake and still love it is what divides people who 'know about wrestling some' and 'wrestling fans.' It's like the difference between kids that quit playing little league between coach pitch and kid pitch.

I went to a friend of a friend's house to watch MITB the other week, place was packed. The guy I was sitting next to wasn't on the 'still real to me' level, but it was fascinating to me how he still reacted in a very legit and visceral way to what was going on.
Like, AJ heads to the ring during Dolph's match:
My brain: Oh! It's AJ. Well, she's gonna cost him the match somehow. I wish they weren't doing this, I like them as a trio, even if there is an odd heel/face dynamic. Well, here goes....
This guy: "Wait, what? What is... She shouldn't even be in the ring! GET HER OUT OF THE RING SHE'S JUST A VALET RIGHT NOW. What the hell is she even fucking thinking?! DAMN IT why is she such a spotlight hog?!"
It was awesome. Whole night was like that. Kayfabe is still alive and well in the way that this guy processes a thing that he knows, somewhere in his brain, his fake.

Generico went back to Mexico to look after orphans.
Sami Zayn is one of the orphans who Generico took under his wing as a protege.

I found a size comparison chart that I think applies.
A guy like Luke Gallows would be like Jetfire sized. I think we're talking about guys like Vader, who is probably around a Broadside, and on up to the Predaking sized Big Shows.

Giant robots that turn into stuff have been pretty awesome over at Transformers: MTMTE lately. Not loving RID, but Monstrosity has been pretty rad so far.
-
WB is pretty satisfied with the international take so far, plus the expectation is that it'll crush on blu ray and digital downloads.

There is no way someone like Gordy should be in the discussion. I think The thread title is misleading people. It's super heavyweights. If Gordy or Hansen are in then you might as well add hogan. Batista, Brock and 500 other guys. We are talking giant fat dudes who do splashes
Yeah, I think there are Big Men (Kane! Luke Gallows!) and then there are Monsters (Yokozuna! Mark Henry!). And then there is the Biggest Little Man.

this show needed more tons of funk

AS A FOLLOW UP now that I've wrapped the first season, the show didn't end up being very predictable at all. Worth watching.
