I was watching highlights of Detroit @ Dallas. 3rd quarter, 5:58, 3rd and 10. Romo appears to shout "Obama Sucks!" as his snap count. Am I mishearing that?
Maybe it's "Omaha Sucks!" as a rib towards Peyton.

Can never be too prepared for a Lions Super Bowl victory.During the early Ted Turner owned days of CNN, they prepared a video to air in case the end of the world was confirmed.
Because Ted Turner.

Fuck. This. World.
Sorry man.

Can never be too prepared for a Cubs World Series victory.
I was going to go with the Cubs, but went with something a little more current in the Lions.

I pretty sure Jacksonville volunteered last year so I wouldn't be surprised if they did so again.
HBO tried to get the Browns last year - who declined because of the new coach excuse - so yeah, I am thinking that is their first choice.
Daniel Snyder has said in the past that he wants no part of Hard Knocks and Tom Coughlin has basically said that he doesn't want to do it and thus the NYG front office isn't willing to do it.
I am also pretty sure the Browns are on the top of the list. They pretty much moved themselves to #1 after this season's "Rise and Fall of Cleveland" storyline.

Damn it, Jim! We're on the planet for 15 seconds, and we already have a dead redshirt.

I thought he was a Bills fan. Now that Buffalo doesn't suck so much, is this his new gimmick? Latch onto shitty teams and as they get better, ditch 'em for the next worse team. A bizarro bandwagon, if you will.
Edit: I'm talking about Harper, not Flair.
Obviously.

I was checking out the channel guide on my cable company's website (local mom-n-pop company). I was surprised to see that I have Destination America, Even the HD version. Must be more popular of a channel than I was thinking.

I don't have much to say in this thread yet, but I am loving the Sub-folder title.

Hypothetical question. What would happen in a playoff game where the game goes into overtime and the game still ends in a tie? I don't recall the rule.
Both teams are eliminated, and the team in waiting gets a bye.
If only. Oddly enough, your answer was the reason I brought up the question in the first place. I was imagining a scenario like that and couldn't imagine that going over very well, as hilarious as it may sound.

Along these lines I am also trying very hard to disregard Gonzo's post about who the 49ers are allegedly interviewing this weekend.
Well, to help take some of the heat off of Gonzo, I was the first on this thread to mention he who shall not be named landing the job. At least this is just an interview.

I kinda have an idea on how this could end. Josh's legs are broke from a figure four, Mike is face first in a turnbuckle (how one got there, who knows), and Heather sees Flair standing a top of her in his boxers. He leans down, shouts "Whoooo!!" in her face, struts, and the film cuts as an elbow comes within an inch of the camera.Taken from a Cracked Photoplasty contest. . .

This last 20 minutes has turned into Madden Easy Mode.

Craig, your cue.

Why yes, thank you Winston. We'll be taking that.

I was only mentioning Det/Car due to those two teams seems to have the largest fanbase on here, in the NFC playoffs. FWIW, I'm rooting for Detroit in the playoffs.

I'm just hoping for a Detroit/Carolina NFC Championship game. I'll just lounge back in my chair while munching on popcorn and watch the festivities on DVDVR begin.

A wise choice for your son's name, Playa. Shaun is my middle name, so of course I'm biased.

Just checked. I haven't been on there for so long. Thankfully I never got around to putting a payment method.

So the USOC has it's 4 finalists for the 2024 Summer Games:
4) Los Angeles - '24 will be the 40th anniversary of the most financially/medalically successful games in American history. Have 2 Olympics under their belt, have a plan, have star power, and have money.
Alright, I *know* I'm old, but do you have to rub it in my face?

I don't know who I am more mad at, Cincinnati, Arizona, or myself for picking either of those two. If I would have picked against at least one of them, I could have got the win with the tie breaker. I picked 35, DFA picked 40. Total points was 37. Grr.

So the Panthers fans are visiting a website that hates hot-linking?
Why would the Panthers want to visit an Jaguar website?
Yeah, I'm a self deprecating fan. It's that or go crazy.

Early prediction. Rex Ryan to San Francisco.
My predictions, more often than not, suck. I wouldn't be concerned, Niners.

Yeah. I still have to sign in as Shaun Gilbert, when the need arises. Otherwise, I stay logged in.

Which may also be a crutch on the Jags end. They are too eager to participate. Roger " Crouching Tiger/Hidden Brain" Goodell needs to feel resistance to feel power and with Jacksonville being so wiling to be on Hard Knocks, he doesn't see them as a worthy adversary. Although, that doesn't explain the London deal, but whatever.
