  1. 88 Rumble Match

The idea is there, but it still feels too much like a battle royal, with lots of dead weight clogging up the system.

    89 Rumble Match

A lot better, albeit with a pretty terrible ending. I especially liked the Hogan/Bossman seection, and anything involving Shawn Michaels or Perfect.

  2.

Cesaro vs. Sami Zayne from NXT Arrival. First exposure to either guy, and first full blown wrestling match I've seen in about 10 years (outside of a Vader/Kobashi and Angle/Benjamin I watched on YouTube the other day). Like it a lot, about as swell of a reintroduction as I could have asked for.

Now go back and watch the entirety of the feud on hulu.

Also, neither here nor there but Angle vs Benjamin is probably endlessly streaming in my own personal hell.

Ha, I loved Angle/Benjamin, but from another post of yours I take it that Angle, and probably Benjamin as well, doesn't do much for you.

  4. So has WWE addressed the claim of 'unedited and uncensored' footage they promised and didn't deliver? ECW matches apparently have the swearing bleeped and WWE has kept with the edited Trish/Mickie match from Mania. Couldn't they get sued over this (class action perhaps?). I'll need to look at the fine print.

Show's how long I've been out of the loop, but why did they have to edit the Trish/Mickie match?

General question, but what's the state of older content currently? I've been getting back into pro wrestling lately, and the Network sounds like a great investment. But, I'm wondering if I should wait until they have more old WWF/WCW/ECW/WCCW/AWA, etc. content on the Network, or if a bunch of that is present already? Thanks for the help.

Not much old tv yet. A bit of WCCW and ecw tv, some old raws. Some msg shows. As far as I can tell, no awa at all yet.

Thanks, that's mainly what I'm holding out for. I have little doubt I'll eventually start paying attention to the present day stuff, but it's not a priority for me right now.
