Wasn't sure whether to risk an admins wrath bumping an old thread started in September 2017 or create a new one. Since the former new films have come out while others have either risen in my opinion, dropped or remained as is. Like before, films which had a theatrical release:

felt bad not including at least one of Christopher Reeve's Superman films, but it's been YEARS since i've watched them. Loved the original X-Men movie trilogy at the time, but it's pretty hard to go back to. Tobey Maguire is my Spider-Man, but just couldn't find a home for any of his films. really wanted to include the 2017 Russian film Guardians as i love that one in the 'so bad, it's good' way, but it also didn't really feel like it worked with the list.

Special shout out to The Adventures of Captain Zoom in Outer Space as it is my favorite tongue-in-cheek superhero movie. But since it was (1) made-for-tv and (2) not actually based on a comic book, i didn't include it on my list.
