Ivelisse is most likely a piece of work herself, but she wasn't wrong about Thunder Rosa.

I can't tell if Rosa is intentionally sandbagging or if she just gets crossed up a lot.  She just has times where she seems lost in matches.

@NikoBaltimorei took the weekend off from posting. I get irritated sometimes and the best way for me to alleviate that is to spend some time away. I literally touched grass.

I don’t think you’re wrong about my disdain for KOR being at least somewhat due to his career long association with nimrods and workrate dorks. I remember several iterations of this board ago when a promo he cut with davey Richards and “wish.com Fit Finlay” Tony Kozina where they yelled the word “respect” about 40 times was in the “how not to cut a fucking promo” thread. It was cringe before cringe was a thing. I’ve also just never had much of a taste for pwg, superindy style work. My personal belief is that workrate should be about the last criteria considered when deciding what makes a great match. I will say that my problem with kor is much more along the lines of “why would they push him when there’s 20 guys on aew’s roster more charismatic, interesting, and with better promo ability” than it is “this fucking oxygen thief and his bullshit in ring style” like it is with most of his associates.

Ive liked some matches kor has been in. The first two war games, the 8 man against imperium, and that last one he had with adam Cole were all really fun. I’m just of the opinion that guys like Ricky Starks, Swerve Strickland, and Jungle Boy can all give you just as good an in ring performance while being far more engaging promos.

Hey, I think I'm finally starting to crack the code!  Huzzah!

I do understand the issues with KOR as for me he was always guilty by association.  But once he stopped teaming/feuding with Davey it allowed me to see that he's actually worth paying attention to.  I still remember when ROH did after parties I was particularly liking the ReDragon match they had that night.  He happened to be nearby at the bar so I went up to him and was just honest in why I hated him and apologized for that.  It was dumb on my part as I'm a stranger he never heard of.  But he was appreciative and completely understood.  So I guess since then I have a soft spot for the guy even if he's had times since then where he didn't light my world on fire.

Did Marina have some trouble with Jade, too? I need to watch that again…

The more I think about it, the more I think my biggest problem with kor and fish is that their presence means the absence of a more over, more entertaining act. It frustrates me as a fan of guys like Wheeler Yuta, the aforementioned Stroke Daddy, Will Hobbs, Swerve, Big Keith et al when I’d like to see these guys level up and can’t because of the seeming insistence on building the show around guys that weren’t all that effective in capturing an audience at their last job. I do also wonder if the mma style doesn’t appeal to me as much because I do mma. Not to the level that Kyle does, but a lot of the grappling techniques and stuff I see regularly.

Ima check out that O’Reilly/Balor match tonight.

Marina was lost and Jade had no idea how to keep things together. A total mess.

That’s at least understandable. Two green workers having a goat rodeo live on tv…

How do we know this wasn't Marina Shafir's inexperience?

Yeah, not so sure about that.

She tries the suplex twice and there's no jump or attempt to plant from Rosa either time.

The first time, I could see being miscommunication, maybe Shafir went early. The second time, Rosa didn't want to go and Shafir muscled her over. That's sandbagging.

Whether that's Shafir being inexperienced, Shafir being unprofessional and doing the spot when Rosa wasn't ready, or Rosa being unprofessional and not going with the spot that's called, none of us are going to know because we weren't in the match. But either way, there were two clear attempts at the suplex and Rosa didn't cooperate with either. Shafir gave her the chance to cooperate on the first and muscled her on the second. Simple as that.

Is that tweet implying that because Shafir’s dad was a Soviet bodybuilder that she has the Grace Jones super serum from A View to a Kill in her DNA? I hope so.

Doesn't sound like it's that simple as you presented three possible scenarios.

One scenario with three possible reasons =/ three scenarios, but go off.
