RIPPA Posted January 10, 2023 Author Posted January 10, 2023 I played FAR too much IB this week but I finished it on all 3 characters and glided Iron Lord Theoretically, I can ignore it the 2nd time it hits this season but since I know I am gonna wanna be max level for Lightfall... I am sure I am gonna have to pinnacle chase My experience wasn't as bad as it appeared to be on the PC side.
Eivion Posted January 10, 2023 Posted January 10, 2023 I did 20+ games and couldn't even manage a reset. I think only got to Fabled III. I can see why the grind has some frustrated, especially those looking to get that chain mail shader. I definitely ran into the stranger occurrences of lag both within the game and the lobby itself starting up during the weekend. That said everything was oddly fine late last night/early morning. Overall I really like the mode. I just hope the bugs are worked out along with maybe tweaking Titan Bubbles though I do like the idea GJake had of the first Hunt coming early so no supers are even available.

The armors mods unlock doesn't really mean much either to anyone who has been playing a couple of years. A part of me is hoping that just as we seem completely fucked Banshee-44 shows up out of nowhere to take out Clovis and after just walks quietly away back to his shop like nothing happened.
RIPPA Posted January 12, 2023 Author Posted January 12, 2023 I have realized that I will need to do a solo run of Seraph Station to get my last drones (I need 4) Any time I go in with a group now - people are basically trying to speed run so I feel bad sitting there and trying to shoot the door locks. But it did mean that I blew through Legend this week. I think - not counting platforming - the team I was with only had one death the entire run 1

Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 (edited) If you did not fear LFG and hate randoms, you could just set up your own fireteam made up of players that had the same goals and playstyle. I don't fear LFGs as much anymore (since so many things the last few seasons require teams to advance the story) That being said - I still don't start my own LFGs as I am lazy but I will need to start doing so as I still need Gally and I need chill runs through the dungeons

Eivion Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 After 11 tries according to Bungie I finally got my damn cowboy hat. Now I never need to do Spire again though probably will since I still don't have Hierarchy and the hood along with it being a decent pinnacle reward come next season.
