J.T.
Did not always see eye to eye with her take on vampire mythology, but she was a damn fine storyteller. RIP.
Technico Support
I read the first series of vampire books in the early/mid 90s and that was enough for me. Way too long and dry. I think it was the first or second book that started a great story, then took a hundreds of pages detour to tell the whole history of vampires from like caveman days until now, before getting back to to it. WTF. Queen of the Damned was probably the best one because it was mostly story and not so much history. I wish a had a dollar for every use of the word "preternatural." Mike Campbell
My wife loves her work. We hit up a used bookstore in Texas a few months ago and she grabbed five or six of her books. Ironically enough, the night before she passed we had an extra audible credit to use, and after hemming and hawing about what to get, she chose an Anne Rice book.
