Guest Jimbo_Tsuruta Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 After watching All Out, thoughts of Chicago lead me back to this gem:

Raziel Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Is it really bad that I kinda want to watch Arsenal/Norwich to see if Arsenal stays a 0 points when CR7 is returning?
RIPPA Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Soccer fans learning that Peacock is hot garbage will never not entertain me The best is the guy in the replies trying to say that Peacock never has issues when doing WWE events
Guest Jimbo_Tsuruta Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 (edited) First time Sheffield United have scored six league goals in over twenty years, hopefully Ndiaye and Gibbs-White keep delivering the goods, three assists for Billy Sharp too he deserves a statue, utter legend. Nice! How many matches did they need?
Guest Jimbo_Tsuruta Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 Hopefully Elliott can bounce back. Horrible.
Raziel Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 (edited) Good start to the Domestic season, of COURSE they throw up a turd in the first CL game. Edited September 14, 2021 by Raziel
odessasteps Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 So much all those think pieces about CR7 leading them automatically to trophies.
Raziel Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 One of my issues with CR7 coming back is that while he's a great forward, he NEEDS a midfield to create chances for him and he needs a squad built around getting him the ball. United only really has Fernendes and Pogba on a good day and the team isn't built for him up front. So anyone thinking resigning him was going to automatically bring silverware doesn't pay attention to the sport at all.
cubbymark Posted September 14, 2021 Posted September 14, 2021 Bayern doing Bayern things in Camp Nou.
Guest Jimbo_Tsuruta Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Derby set to enter administration, coupled with their FFP breach it looks like they could get a 21-point deduction.
cubbymark Posted September 18, 2021 Posted September 18, 2021 Mexican fans gonna do the Puto until FIFA kicks them out of big competitions. Which given the cash cow they are for CONCACAF, we’ll see. This time, Cruz Azul vs Monterrey ConcaChampions semifinals Thursday night was the site.

Of course I picture him saying that in The Boy voice and it gives me the giggles. Seriously though... they're boned. 1
Raziel Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Well West Ham/Man United certinally had an ending.

That's what you get for rigidly if not blindly following Soccernomics i.e "meticulous data analysis" i.e Moneyball transposed to association football. I have little doubt the computer told him (Moyes) to do it.
Raziel Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 That entire sequence was just odd, with CR7 getting mugged in the box for no call, then a penalty awarded on the other end for the handball that wasn't exactly a handball, both plays getting VAR'd, then Moyes subbing in Noble to kick the penalty straight to De Gea, it was just, odd. But yeah, I really don't need 2 sports I watch being made near unwatchable by stat nerds taking over. 1
