Impact Wrestling - 6/10/21: The Summit

Solid show and build to Against All Odds. the Impact/AEW Summit was fun. Moose/Omega taking place at Daily's Place now was a random addition. Glad they kept it one on one and went the original way it seemed to be going with Callihan getting the Slammiversary shot. Enjoyed the knockouts matches, Tasha Steelz with another real good showing looking great. Dug Petey's super Destroyer on Fulton. Main event ended up a pretty good brawl. Looking forward to Against all Odds with another very good looking lineup.

Impact Wrestling - June 10, 2021

*Scott D'Amore opened the show and introduced AEW owner Tony Khan for the Impact-AEW Summit. D'Amore started talking about their agreement when Don Callis interrupted. Callis argued against Sami Callihan being added to Omega vs. Moose at Against All Odds. D'Amore talked about Callihan being attacked twice by the Good Brothers. Callis talked about why Tony Khan wouldn't want to be involved with a danger like Callihan. Callis said he wanted to see the best athlete from Impact vs the best athlete from AEW in Moose vs. Omega without Callihan. D'Amore agreed announced that Against All Odds would remain Omega vs. Callihan one on one. Tony Khan talked about how much he's had to deal with Callis since he first came in to AEW. Tony put over Daily's Place as the best wrestling venue in the world over the past year and that's where Kenny's greatest accomplishments have come, so he announced Omega vs. Moose would happen there. Tony assures they don't want Sami Callihan there. Don Callis agreed and said that's all great. D'Amore mentioned that Callihan and the Good Brothers would both be wrestling at Against All Odds so they wouldn't be able to interfere. Scott D'Amore then announced that the winner of Omega/Moose at Against All Odds will defend against Sami Callihan next month at Slammiversary on July 17, which upset Callis.

*Rosemary def. Havok (7:36) after a 4th spear to keep her title match one on one at Against All Odds. After the match, Deonna Purrazzo, Susan, & Kimber Lee attacked Rosemary & Havok. Susan got the mic to call out Tasha Steelz to face Kimber now.

*Tasha Steelz (w/ Kiera Hogan) def. Kimber Lee (w/ Deonna Purrazzo & Susan) (5:47) with a falcon arrow. After the match, Susan & Deonna brawled with Kiera & Tasha. Rosemary & Havok then came back and took everybody out. 

*Trey Miguel & Petey Williams def. Rohit Raju & Chris Bey (7:26) when Trey forced Rohit to submit. After the match, Ace Austin & Madman Fulton out to attack everyone until Josh Alexander ran out for the save. Alexander took out Ace while the other four took out Fulton. 

*Eddie Edwards def. Joe Doering (w/ Eric Young, Rhino, & Deaner) (3:57) via DQ when Deaner tripped Edwards. After the match, Violent by Design attacked Eddie until Satoshi Kojima made the save.

*W. Morrissey def. Willie Mack (15:41) in a No DQ Match after booting a steel chair into Mack's face. After the match, Morrissey looked to attack further but Rich Swann made the save until security came out to break it up.

Hey!  I watched 40 minutes tonight!  I totally agree with you about not having a 3 way.  That would have been an obvious and shitty way to get the belt off Kenny.  I guess Kenny is keeping the title for a while.  It's hilarious that Kenny is supposed to be scared of Sami Callihan,  A lot of women wrestling tonight and I also agree with the goodness of Tasha Steelz.  Havok versus Rosemary was good too.  I assume people have already made cracks about Morrissey looking like Edge ON THE GAS!
