BazBall is still alive and well.

It's being exported to the other side of the world, two serious cricketing nations have lost 26 wickets in two days in Sydney, top score in the game so far being Rishabh Pant's 61 (33 balls).

As to your more recent post, I find it hilarious that even now whenever Bancroft's name is mentioned, the BBC feel compelled to mention that he got banned for ball tampering. Still, I can imagine running face first into your mate like that does suck.

England and getting Pomwashed in Ashes series in Australia.. name another more accurate combo.

edit: Dayumn... ESPNCricInfo isn't holiding back on lambasting Sri Lanka's performance in the just-concluded Test. (now, admittedly Australia won in a HUMONGOUS rout)

It felt like at times in this Test, an Australia batter could wander over to a rock on the Galle shoreline and find a Test hundred underneath it. It felt like if an Australia spinner bumped into a coconut tree, three dismissed Sri Lanka batters would fall out and then sulk mopily back to the dressing room.

Bizarre T20 game:

Batting team, needing to win to stay in control of their own destiny (wwc t20 asia) are 192-0 after 16 overs, but notice rain off in the distance, so since T20 innings can't be declared complete like a test innings, had to have 10 people tell the umpire they were retiring out, one by one, walking to the crease, telling the ump, and walking back out.

They did bowl the opponents out for 20-ish, so it worked out.

Two major cricket nations being at war (potentially) will be something to watch.

Not if the button is pressed and the nukes start flying, that'll give "all out" a bad connotation..

Why they banned declarations when teams can just do that, I do not know.

Watching Major League Cricket and on one hand, it is VERY bizarre seeing cricket at Oakland Coliseum. OTOH, the layout actually works - squint and it looks sorta like a scaled-down MCG. One hopes they name the stadium ends after famed Oakland bowlers Vida Blue and Catfish Hunter.

India beat England Cricket Team by six runs in the Fifth Test today, one of the best Test matches ever and series ever ending 2-2. A dramatic hour of play with England needing 35 runs and India needing four wickets. Chris Woakes plays with one arm having dislocated his shoulder playing in a sling. That's toughness. Fifth Test also had Joe Root get his 39th Test century, Harry Brook his tenth after getting caught but Siraj stumbled over the boundary rope so it didn't count! A 195 run partnership. England in the second innings dropped six catches. As the saying goes, catches win matches.

Sheesh. Series had been already decided, but England just beat South Africa by 342 runs

Sometimes, games are inexplicably not close, cf. Game One of this series.

Australia vs. England First Test First Day is insane. England out for 172-10, Starc 7-58. Australia 123-9. Stokes 5-23. Great comeback by England.
