More of the latter. She went from a tough opponent but a more favorable matchup to an even tougher opponent. She's also a Fortis MMA fighter, and they love Fortis MMA fighters. 1

The sound on the Yanez shot was nasty. Buys vs. Ruiz reminded me of the PWG match where Claudio had Danielson in a head lock for 10 mins & Bryan tried every way he could think of to get out of it.

Cornejo was a hell of a heel afterwards doing her Seo Hee Ham tribute celebration dance out of the octagon along with a little bird flipping before that. I feel like if you had 15 minutes to fight and you didn't do a whole bunch, it's kinda pointless to try to pick a fight AFTERWARDS. You got side headlocked for like 9 out of 15 minutes. I understand you're kinda frustrated and your opponent did something a little dickish, but at the same time, the fight is over. You missed your opportunity to whoop her ass. 1
