Cobra Commander Posted April 13 Posted April 13 the Lambrini Girls singer having a serious brain injury after releasing this feels like catnip for conspiracy people
odessasteps Posted April 14 Posted April 14 (edited) Sadly, rick rude is unavailable to induct Sade into the RNR HOF. However, JC is available to induct Rick Rubin. Edited April 14 by odessasteps
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Ian Curtis may have been a piece of shit in life, but man is that deserved. Also they're very clearly taking advantage of the Gallaghers being on speaking terms to just shove them in. AND WU~~~
Curt McGirt Posted April 14 Posted April 14 (edited) Wait, what did Ian Curtis do besides be depressed and hang himself? I guess he left behind a wife... EDIT: And baby IIRC so yeah, I can see that designation Edited April 14 by Curt McGirt
zendragon Posted April 14 Posted April 14 So does Iron Maiden get to go in the full HOF instead of what ever Judas Priest got?

I would induct Sade, but I'm sure I'd be tongue-tied as soon as I was within 250 yards of Helen Adu. I honestly think the band is incredibly underrated. The band is mostly a rhythm section and a saxophone player, leaving all the melodic space for Helen's ethereal voice. It's a band that is almost completely anonymous. The vast majority of people believe that Sade is the singer (I know it is part of her middle name), not the band. I could argue that Sade's bass player, Paul Denman, is as good of a bassist as exists in any band, but his name isn't even known, let alone brought up in best bassist conversations. 2
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Whatever psychiatrist is seeing Liam is a fucking genius and absolutely has him on the correct dosage levels.
supremebve Posted April 14 Posted April 14 I have to ask, how the fuck has Luther Vandross not been inducted yet? I need to know who was in the meeting and heard the argument for Luther Vandross and thought, "He's only one of the greatest male vocalists of all time, I need a little bit more." Then I need to know all the people he convinced with that bullshit argument. All of those people should then be shot into the sun. 2
Ace Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Never expect the Rock & Roll HOF to make sense. Queen Latifah and MC Lyte are also being inducted as infuences. 1

Queen Latifah seems like someone who should be in a Hall of Fame, I just don't know what Hall of Fame it should be. This is probably the one that makes the most sense, despite having a fairly weak catalog.
Custos Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Popped up on my Youtube feed, thought 'that voice sounds familiar'. And sure enough, Eric Young interviewing Dave Mustaine about his favourite albums. Maybe it's a long-time gig but was certainly unexpected for me. 2

Zimbra Posted April 16 Posted April 16 We got a new Boards of Canada track and a Massive Attack/Tom Waits song dropping on the same day
Curt McGirt Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I wondered why there was a coffin onstage then I saw the screencap after the video ended. Fantastic. I hope that old man lives to be a hundred and ten.
