Curt McGirt Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) I literally thought a LEO was some kind of object or action that were interesting things in his house. Not knowing what a LEO was made me totally misunderstand what you were writingย EDIT: Whew, Afroman ate that attorney alive on the stand. No matter how wound up he was. Edited March 18 by Curt McGirt
Cobra Commander Posted March 18 Posted March 18 one of the people who wrote "Under the Boardwalk" is still alive, so did he get a writing credit for "Lemon Pound Cake"? ย
Cobra Commander Posted March 18 Posted March 18 (edited) and Afroman wins on all counts in the lawsuit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltB4_mXErEM Edited March 19 by Cobra Commander 3
twiztor Posted March 19 Posted March 19 16 hours ago, Cobra Commander said: one of the people who wrote "Under the Boardwalk" is still alive, so did he get a writing credit for "Lemon Pound Cake"? well, there's no credits listed onย discogs, either in text or visible on the pictures available on there. And the youtube vid you linked also doesn't mention it, so i highly (pardon the pun) doubt it.
ohtani's jacket Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) Good lord, did anyone tell the sax guy it's just a song for an anime adaptation? ย Edited March 20 by ohtani's jacket 1
Travis Sheldon Posted March 24 Posted March 24 You know, I once really enjoyed some of the music Moby put out. But he's been on a steady downhill path for the past 15-20 years. Just shut up and be a nice vegan, Moby!
odessasteps Posted March 24 Posted March 24 (edited) 1. I think of Lola as still being in their early period (70).ย ย 2. The only Moby I want seems to always get taken down on YT, his cover of Verb! From the schoolhouse Rock Rocks album. Edited March 24 by odessasteps
Cobra Commander Posted March 25 Posted March 25 A band whose name makes it difficult to google them.. presenting Telehealth and their song "Cool Job" ย 1

Cobra Commander Posted April 3 Posted April 3 (edited) It's possible we might get a few hits from Violet Grohl in the near future ("THUM" is getting played on listener-supported stations I listen to, and this is another song from her upcoming album) Violet's 19, turning 20 in a few weeks, and as you've probably guessed, she's the daughter of Dave Grohl. So grunge is old enough that the children born 10 years post-grunge are making music about fucking. Violet has cited The Breeders and PJ Harvey as musical influences. So i'm ready for some people to think her success is all nepotism even if the music is actually good and doing something different from other recent music. Edited April 3 by Cobra Commander
Cobra Commander Posted April 6 Posted April 6 U2 hasn't really been all that good for awhile (or I just stopped paying attention to them after Vertigo and that album they put on our phones) but I kinda like that U2's protesty song essentially quotes Criswell from Plan 9 to start the song meanwhile, the Springsteen "Streets of Minneapolis" song has a lot of Dylan in it.. mainly the vocal quality of Bob Dylan trying to sing 1
Cobra Commander Posted April 6 Posted April 6 also, really enjoying the ascent into the chorus in this song: ย
Cobra Commander Posted April 8 Posted April 8 gonna be eternally amused that the edit of "Me So Horny" edited everything except the name of the song ย
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 10 Posted April 10 So, here's a rabbit hole for all your OCD to go through: ย ย 1
odessasteps Posted April 10 Posted April 10 Saw this last night. I made sure to send my friend who is a cure super fan the link to the 1984 show he posted.ย
