SirFozzie Posted January 29, 2025 Author Posted January 29, 2025 (edited) Looks like there will be a semi-professional women's rugby (union) league this year in the USA, I do love the Boston Banshees logo https://www.reddit.com/r/rugbyunion/comments/1id1945/womens_elite_rugby_usa_launch_the_branding_for/ Edited January 29, 2025 by SirFozzie
SirFozzie Posted February 8, 2025 Author Posted February 8, 2025 also, espn to air MLR, and poor poor wales. 14 straight losses.
SirFozzie Posted February 8, 2025 Author Posted February 8, 2025 England HEROES! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkHiJ7vNBVI
SirFozzie Posted February 19, 2025 Author Posted February 19, 2025 watching the first week of MLR replays on ESPN+ (PLEASE, ESPN+, allow us to build playlists to watch later).. found this amusing about my home town team, the TWO-TIME, TWO-TIME, defending champs, the New England Free Jacks. One of their sponsors is Dude Wipes, and guess where their logo is? If you guessed "across the back of the shorts", you may laugh now.
SirFozzie Posted February 22, 2025 Author Posted February 22, 2025 What a fucking finish in England-Scotland
SirFozzie Posted April 27, 2025 Author Posted April 27, 2025 Speaking of England rugby (2 months ago), the women played France in a Grand Slam Six Nations Title decider, and it was a hell of a game. Watch allllll of this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_hcN-WG-_8
The Natural Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 Second Test: Australia 26-29 British & Irish Lions having trailed 23-5 in first half to clinch series win with a last minute try. That was the biggest ever comeback in a Lions Test match. Get in!
SirFozzie Posted September 13, 2025 Author Posted September 13, 2025 South Africa just took New Zealand to the woodshed. Biggest defeat in the All Blacks history.
SirFozzie Posted September 15, 2025 Author Posted September 15, 2025 Also, in the women's world cup semifinals, if the men's France-England game is referred to as "Le Crunch", would the england-france women's semifinal be called "Le Crunch Femme?"
SirFozzie Posted September 17, 2025 Author Posted September 17, 2025 Congrats to USA for qualiifying for the 2027 RWC
SirFozzie Posted November 8, 2025 Author Posted November 8, 2025 Italy 26, Australia 19. Hoooooleee shit.
SirFozzie Posted November 29, 2025 Author Posted November 29, 2025 yesterday: It can't be that bad for Wales, can it? Right now: South Africa 73-0 Wales
odessasteps Posted January 22 Posted January 22 I saw that, wonder how it ended up in Baltimore. Other than they bid for it.
SirFozzie Posted January 22 Author Posted January 22 (edited) Wales Rugby is likely headed to a Showdown after the six nations, apparently a lot of the lower clubs are banking on a poor performance in the competition to kick the current board out (calling for a EGM after the Six Nations) Edited January 22 by SirFozzie
SirFozzie Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 The Six Nations begin tonight (this afternoon in the US, 3:00 PM start). All games on Peacock in the US
SirFozzie Posted February 14 Author Posted February 14 Some good news for us USA Rugby-watching fans, RugbyPass has Super Rugby Pacific rights this season, which means you'll see them on the RugbyPass.TV FAST TV Network (available via Samsung TV Plus, for example), and the RugbyPass.TV YouTube Channel as well as the app.. I'm glad that I have YouTube Premium, because if I miss the beginning of a game, I can rewind to the start and watch it..
SirFozzie Posted March 8 Author Posted March 8 Italy beat england for the first time in like 32 attempts.
DangerMark Posted March 8 Posted March 8 All this means that if Wales want to condemn England to the Wooden Spoon, they need a bonus point win over Italy and for France to help overturn a 100 point +/- difference. Ahh well, it's going to have to be enough that the Heathen English lost to Italy.
