Well shit. I'm a fan of Sijara so I was rooting for her. From Macy to Rosa to now Julia. I went from unsure on her chances against Macy to thinking she could win it against Rosa to now feeling unlikely. Avila's been killer.

If Viviane Araujo can figure out some of the defensive grappling aspects, she can be a top name at flyweight for awhile. She's going to be head and shoulders above many girls in terms of striking. She has massacred Montana De La Rosa's face.

Brian Kelleher just got his super late replacement opponent (who for whatever reason decided to go for a takedown on a guy whose best offensive weapon is a guillotine choke) out of there in 40 seconds. He's pretty much secured himself a performance bonus unless we get some awesome finishes in the remaining fights.

I'm not sure if Imadaev was trying to fight the hands or trying to do one of those fake taps where he wants the fight to be stopped but not appear as if he quit.

The problem with an Augusto Sakai is he doesn't have a great eraser or at least something he can rely on to be an advantage over top heavyweights. His striking is a 7 on a 1-10 scale, but his power just slightly above average best. He's just all combinations. If that's his best attribute, it's gonna be tough to break into the next tier.

Only caught the main event. That finish was brutal. Sakai kind of looked like he gave the ref a "what the fuck" but no dude, you're getting blasted, you're curled up in a ball not fighting back. He had to stop that.

If you get 10-8'd in the previous round, then immediately get taken down, and elbowed into oblivion (the second to last one, Overeem even had time to set it up), what do you expect to happen?
