I want a "both these guys" chant to break out among the dozens in attendance during the main event. The only time that stupid chant would be acceptable.

Going into this, Weidman said he didn't know who Akhmedov was before signing on to face him. FWIW Akhmedov has been in the UFC since 2013 and hasn't lost since 2016 when he was a welterweight. This is what you would call a extremely high risk, no reward fight.

It's a must win for Chris Weidman going 1-5 with all 5 by KO/TKO. Chris' defeats are to the top guys though.

It's almost like cutting weight is really hard/stupid to begin with and then add in a pandemic makes it even cooler. Dariush strikes me as a super professional athlete. Has he ever missed weight before?

Youssef Zalal is a nice looking prospect. That's 3-0 in the UFC. Still needs to work on his finishing instincts. He almost had Barrett out of there in round 1. He completely dominated round 2. He should have finished one of those RNCs in round three.
