ANIMAL CROSSING: New Horizons

I never finished all the art, flowers, bugs, and fish.

Was hoping I'd finish those sets before buying the DLC.

Only played sparingly since last year.

Guess I should just bite the bullet and get the extra stuff.

I think I finished everything on my first island and most everything on my second. 
 

it will be interesting just when Switch 2 gets the next one.

Speaking of Bugs and Fish - I don't know if I ever mentioned this or not but the game HATES it when you just put the models on the ground, even if everything nicely organized

It completely tanked my star rating and for awhile I couldn't figure out why. Daisy just kept telling me that the residents complained of too much clutter. So eventually I picked them all up and put them in storage and back to 5 stars I went

Now the one good thing about having them in storage is it is a lot easier to see what I do and do not have. It also showed me how many duplicates I have and now I am full of shame

Missed my shot at turnips for this week. Damn. Was hoping to make up for last week's losses. Now Turnip Prophet isn't going to be as accurate as it could be.

Buying turnips was very aggravating for someone who worked overnights and often overslept Sunday mornings and missed buying turnips. Since I tried not to time travel at least early on in my playing.

Groucho (moody bear) should be moving into one of the allotted plots today. I still have one more open plot (that I just placed yesterday so it hasn't been claimed), but I still haven't doubled up on animal types or personalities yet.

Had my first villager in my new playthrough move out the other day. We wish Static the squirrel the best in his future endeavors.

Might just start encouraging villagers to leave when they say they're thinking of leaving (with the exception of a couple) just to rotate some new folks through. Static hadn't been on the island very long and there are only a couple of them who actively annoy me, but if there are 400+ villagers in the game it's probably best to rotate through a few of them.

I used to always let people go if they asked but now because I am focused on trying to get villager photo's I dont say yes unless I have their photo or I hate them

Static the Squirrel got replaced by Elvis the Lion. Elvis' interior decor is pretty sweet, not gonna lie.

I also managed to replace one of the villagers I wanted to see move out, as Cephalobot the Octopus took his gimp-looking ass somewhere else. He has been replaced by Hippeaux the Hippo. Obviously Cajun so I'm going to pretend they talk like the special teams coach from The Waterboy.

In regards to the free update - there really isn't anything that interests me outside of storage

Someone said the hotel is a little too similar to the resort. 

also, don’t expect a new AC game for years.

One thing that folks noted is that you can at least bulk craft in the Hotel so the hope is that bulk crafting will now be in the game no matter where you are

One thing not mentioned is will load time 8mprove on switch 2. 12 people flying to your island would take forever.

Holy shit, four years later, Nintendo was like "Never mind, we said we weren't, but we ended up making more stuff for this game."

I suppose this means no new AC until late 2027 at the absolute earliest.
