DJ Hero Morganti Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 Big E is flabbergasted at Truth. I am here for all this. 1
For Great Justice Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 I'm listening now. God, this is great. Truth is a national treasure.
DJ Hero Morganti Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 So Truth might be the best guest for completely derailing anything ever.
Curt McGirt Posted November 2, 2020 Posted November 2, 2020 (edited) I don't know how on Earth he does this stuff straight. Not even a titter of laughter. Big E: "In 1997, I was eleven, did you know that?" Truth: "So was I." Edited November 2, 2020 by Curt McGirt 1
For Great Justice Posted November 3, 2020 Posted November 3, 2020 New Day have that Shaq/Ernie/Kenny vibe. I could listen to those guys read a phone book. 2
WholeFnMachine Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 Listened to ATB today and Ali was very good & gave a really great perspective on Retribution, well worth a listen.
odessasteps Posted November 7, 2020 Posted November 7, 2020 First episode of our Continental pod is out, with Karl Stern talking about the promotion going from SECW to CCW. http://Tinyurl.com/winter94

I feel dumb. What’s ATB? Edit: oh, After The Bell. I’m so used to not paying attention to official WWE stuff. Might check this out though. Edited November 7, 2020 by Andy in Kansas 1

Dude, honestly, if it wasn’t for Graves referring to it that way a million times an episode, I wouldn’t know either!
DJ Hero Morganti Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 Whenever I see ATB i think of the trance music producer. 1
Ziggy Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 Savio Vega was on Rikishis podcast. I enjoyed the BSK stories plus he spoke very highly of Bam Bam Bigelow several time. If your a fan of Bam Bam check it out. 1
Liam O'Rourke Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 SCG Radio is back this week to kick off a series covering the WWF in 1991 - two parts are now online covering January through to March: the first part looking at the Sgt. Slaughter angle that kicked off the year, all the controversy and media issues around the character, the decision to take the WWF Title off the Ultimate Warrior, the presentation of the angle as well as backstage notes on feelings behind-the-scenes, the show breaks down Vince McMahon's terrible decision to exploit the Persian Gulf War so shamelessly. In the second part, we talk about WrestleMania 7, all the highs and lows of the show, notes on the success or failure of the event (spoiler: it was a failure), moves Vince McMahon made between January and March in the bodybuilding world, a notable doctor gets indicted, and we talk all about the undercard scene for the first three months of the year, all with notes, facts and figures from the Wrestling Observer newsletters of the period. A really fun period of reflect on... odessasteps Posted November 23, 2020 Posted November 23, 2020 New day pod today with Bayley was pretty fun.
For Great Justice Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 (edited) It’s already in the AEW thread but the new Renee pod is out and Mox is a God damned national treasure Edited November 24, 2020 by For Great Justice 1
odessasteps Posted November 24, 2020 Posted November 24, 2020 For folks that subscribe to the Super Studcast, I was one of the Patreon guests, asking about Continental & plugging the Family Affair pod. 2
AxB Posted November 25, 2020 Posted November 25, 2020 Richard Slinger on working for AJPW in the Four Pillars era: https://slamwrestling.net/index.php/2020/11/24/for-richard-slinger-wrestling-in-japan-was-as-real-as-it-gets/ (Not a podcast. An article.) 1

An article.) This is interesting. I'd heard that NJPW recruits learn some legit fighting skills as part of their training, but I didn't know that was true of AJPW also. Not surprising, but cool to have it confirmed.

Curt McGirt Posted November 27, 2020 Posted November 27, 2020 (edited) Finding out that they ended up fucking in a hotel suite overlooking Times Square (sounds like they did it on the balcony) after he defended the belt confirms the pod's title is gonna be fairly accurate. Brandon Bones Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 Now that Arn has figured out how to not breath into the microphone. His podcast (though not particularly creative) is a hoot. He just straight up dissed Zeus’ lazy eye. Dayam!
