But also, I felt that that version contradicted my first movie in many ways, and this current movie, which I was already in production on. So then, what are you going to do? I was like… you would have to play ball in both directions in order for that to work. The only thing I have done, and have always tried to do, is -- I knew, when Zack was doing Justice League, where she sort of ends up. So I always tried… like, I didn’t change her suit, because I never want to… I don’t want to contradict his films, you know? But yet, I have to have my own films, and he’s been very supportive of that. And so, I think that that Justice League was kind of an outlier. They were trying to turn one thing into, kind of, another. And so then it becomes, ‘I don’t recognize half of these characters. If you thought Man of Steel sucked and BvS sucked you are going to think this sucks. It's more of the same but obviously there are plenty of people who like it and none of us are the authority over what's good or what's not good. There are other options out there. People who waste their time watching things they hate are worse than people who waste their time watching things they enjoy. Detractors aren't smarter than the Snyder Cut people. The 'Snyder Cut' people actually got what they wanted out of their campaign. That is a victory for them and a loss for the people who wanted Snyder to go away. And no I personally did not ask for the Snyder Cut to see the light of day. I can live with Whedon's mess, I saw it once, that was enough. But it does put a smile on my face that it's coming out. I like my superhero movies to be more grounded in reality. I'm pretty sure if Darkseid and the parademons attacked earth there'd be a couple "oh shits" flying around in the process as well. I'd advise Goyer or whoever wrote this to put that in the script. You're spending too much time watching superhero movies that want to treat alien invasions like they are a laughing matter.
