odessasteps
Always odd to see Snuka wearing footwear.

Neat, I only knew he was doing it by the mid 80s after watching some his tags with Brody from AJPW.

I also like the visual of him pushing off the apron with his foot to start it. Really adds some oomph to the move.

Both Summerslam '88 and '89 had awesome opening matches. It gets more tricky once they went to a ppv every month, but if you asked me to pick my favorite opening matches from the Royal Rumble/WM/KOTR/Summerslam/Survivor Series era; Bulldogs/Rougeaus and Harts/Brain Busters are both on that list. Good choices. Mine all day long is Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart at WrestleMania X.

That or Brian Busters vs. Hart Foundation (SummerSlam 1989). Only match in WWE's history I rate more than Owen vs. Bret from WrestleMania X is Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin at WrestleMania 13.
