Craig H Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I was talking to a friend last night and we somehow slept on how the bulk of the AFC and NFC are just garbage fires. We started looking at schedules to see who had a shot at the playoffs and despite having the same record as the Browns, GB has a path to the playoffs just because of how shitty everyone else is. Another that stood out was how the Colts lost 4 in a row and then went on to win 5 in a row. The rest of their schedule isn't terribly tough either so they're setup pretty nicely for a playoff run. The Bills now have 4 fucking wins. My friend is a huge Bills fan and even he was surprised at this one. Again, a lot would need to go in their favor, but they're not completely eliminated from what would be a first round loss. So somehow with offensive production going through the roof, there's a lot of teams with really shitty records that aren't totally eliminated. Should make for an interesting final stretch.
Mike Campbell Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 A buddy and I were discussing Green Bay making it to the post season, after the clip of Rodgers' press conference. I'm not going to say it won't happen, because anything is possible. But, Green Bay's chances are as slim as it gets. They not only need to win all five of their upcoming games, like Rodgers said, but Chicago and Minnesota would both need to lose at least four of their next five games. Minnesota has the tougher schedule, but they still have to play Detroit and Miami, Chicago may have the Rams in a couple weeks, but they have the Giants this week and the 49ers in week 16. And that's just within the division. That doesn't even take into account Philly, Seattle, and Carolina all creeping along, with better records than Green Bay.

hammerva Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 And to prove that the Redskins just can't stop being stupid, Doug Williams got in trouble for saying in an interview that the Reuben Foster situation is "small potatoes" compared to what other people in "higher places" are doing. Most believe it is him saying that if Trump can be president then why is this a big deal. He apologized for it. But at least Foster doesn't have a video of the shit he has done. Kareem Hunt is screwed now unless there is a much much longer version of that video
