Burgundy LaRue Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I want to trade for Welker. Come back Wes, please *Muttley snickers*
Tabe Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9785450/sam-wyche-nfl-tried-stop-no-huddle-1980s Gotta love Sam Wyche. . .I'm not saying Sam is lying but... I don't believe a word of that story.
Kuetsar Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I have multiple fantasy teams needing the Falcons to give the Jets a shitkicking. . .that and on principle. . .
Death From Above Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 It's very early but it looks like the Jets came to play.
rzombie1988 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Is anyone else tired of ESPN treating Geno like the greatest QB ever? They praise him for everything and ignore all of his mistakes.
Kuetsar Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Is anyone else tired of ESPN treating Geno like the greatest QB ever? They praise him for everything and ignore all of his mistakes. I guess they are building him up so they can tear him down later. . .
bink_winkleman Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 The Falcons dropping one here would be the cherry on top of this wonderful Saints weekend. 5-0, Brees's record safe, Hawks lose, AND a four game lead in the division would be absurd.
rzombie1988 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 The Falcons deserve to lose this one. They are basically leaving people wide open.

I guess they are building him up so they can tear him down later. . . This. He'll be joining Cam Newton and RG3 on the 'love you until we hate you' train.
Niners Fan in CT Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Wow, okay... Jets playing very well and Falcons shitting the bed so far.
Death From Above Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 So yeah that was not quite what I expected.
rzombie1988 Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Hah a well deserved stop. Had to be a fool to think they would have gotten a rushing TD after their disappointing rushing tonight.
Brian Fowler Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 So, the Falcons definitely appear to be our "what the fuck happened, how are they this bad" team for 2013...
Death From Above Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I'm staring my third survival league death in 5 weeks in the face. 1
Dewar Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Jets offensive playcalling boggles the mind sometimes. Second and four, let's go shotgun with no blocking back. DUMB.
Dewar Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Brutal bail out call by the refs on 4th down. Got the number wrong too.
Dewar Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Justice was served. Doing a happy dance right now!
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Great, we're going have to hear about Rex Ryan being an elite coach again. I thought we were past this already! Not to mention that the Falcons left three points on the board. Stupid Mike Smith. Congrats to Dewar, though!
just drew Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Fuck. This team is terrible. No talent on either line. Some idiot somewhere is going to try to blame Matt Ryan for this, when he's playing his ass off...
Cole Miner Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Forgot the game and stayed on RAW the whole show. As soon I remember I turn it on and there is less than 1 minute left and the Falcons are ready to knock me out of the survival pool. Feel free to ask for a trade Tony Gonzalez. I think everyone will understand.
Burgundy LaRue Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I do wonder if Gonzalez is rethinking his non-retirement. Going home without seeing the Super Bowl would be difficult, but it sure would beat what's happening now.
bink_winkleman Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Is this a dream? Am I imagining this? Saints were 1-4 last year, Falcons were 5-0. Apparently I missed the news about Atlanta's bounty scandal, QB contract hold-out and hiring of an awful defensive coordinator. And apparently they hired Steve Martin on as the interim head coach until Mike Smith gets back from his suspension. Goddamn this is cathartic. The Ryan brothers did me right this weekend.
Death From Above Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Honestly the biggest problem I see from Atlanta is their defense just doesn't look that intimidating. I don't know what it is exactly. They go through the motions, they more or less make the plays. But there's no oomph to any of it, no heart. Something just isn't clicking with them this year.
