Brie being out to check on Bryan furthers the Total Divas storyline of Brie and Bryan being together in real life, while also allowing WWE to wink at the audience who either knows they are a real couple and/or watches Total Divas. Bryan proposed to Brie while Total Divas cameras were rolling, so their storyline on the upcoming fake reality show's season is going to involve them being together. Randy Orton attacking Daniel Bryan on RAW allows Brie Bella to cry on WWE cameras, and then cry on Total Divas cameras.
