I was always a fan of those golf simulators but was always terrible at them in the short game part.  Looks like they kind of solved that issue.

I remember going into the All Star Cafe in Times Square back in the 00's and seeing their tracker of big sports events/records.  One of which was Tiger Woods Grand Slam Event Wins, when everyone knew he was only a year or two away from shattering Jack's 18 win record.

Anyway....  Tiger just ruptured his Achilles Tendon while practicing at home.

I perhaps stubbornly always said “when he gets to the record, we can talk. Things happen” which I did not think would include Elon smashing up his car with a golf club.

Yeah Rory has shown incredible stuff in these last 2 holes.  Most golfers would have crumbled

Still one to go

And he blew it again 🫣

I thought Rory McIlroy blew it twice but wins the Masters to become only the sixth man and first European to clinch the Career Grand Slam, joining Americans Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods and South Africa's Gary Player. Feel bad for Justin Rose, that's three times he's finished second.

And two months later, here he is making the rarest feat in golf.

An albatross, at the US Open!

I said to my Dad at the start of the 2025 Ryder Cup, Europe would win but I never expected this. Europe lead the USA 8.5-3.5 after winning all three of the opening three sessions in this year's Ryder Cup!

“Can we play you every week?” is the cheeky chant from the European fans who are enjoying their morning in New York.

Europe captain Luke Donald's love affair with the Ryder Cup was underlined in New York, when he cemented his place in the history books.

As a leader, it started when he masterminded the 'Romp in Rome' in 2023, when Europe completed a 16½-11½ win over the United States.

The Englishman had already won all four Ryder Cups he played in.

At Bethpage Black, the 47-year-old become the second captain, after Tony Jacklin in 1985 and 1987, to lead the side to home and away victories.

He is the only man to win home and away as a player as well.

Remember all those people who said that golf would be better if the crowd was more like the ones in Arizona (Phoenix specifically I think).   Yeah how did that work out for you.    I mean even the American players were trying to tell the crowd to shut the fuck up.  But hey I guess it is okay because they were wearing their USA gear and as we know being a jerk is acceptable if you hide it under patriotism

Yeah, crowd were a disgrace. Surprised more Europe players didn't join Rory McIlroy who told them to "Shut the fuck up." I would have same as Rory did. Kudos to their professionalism.

I think the Phoenix crowd once a year is about all the Bushwood types would tolerate.

They're now selling to a VC firm for $1.1 billion.
