RIPPA Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 The Giants appear to be in a position to win a game!

BobbyWhioux Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Raiders straight up doing the job in obvious and sloppy fashion now. 1st and 10 in the red zone with 3:00 left, down by 4, defense can't stop people, Lynch and the offensive line are dominating. So of course like every other moron offensive coordinator these days they throw a corner route in the end zone that naturally gets intercepted. Two years of taking to hoard draft picks for that first season in Vegas.
hammerva Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Jimmy G got hurt for the Niners. That is the last thing that organization needs l
Kuetsar Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I never thought the Bills would be winless, but I had no idea this was going to happen. Imagine how good Josh Allen could be when they give him real players. . .
Mike Campbell Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 If Chicago wins and takes first in the division, my head will explode. 1

hammerva Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I don't know if I can wrap my head around the 3-0 Miami Dolphins
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Jimmy being carted off the field. Well, this was a fun season. 1
hammerva Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Andrew Luck benched on the hail mary pass. And it is only like 55 yards I think. I guess his shoulder isn't completely healthy Oh man two weeks of listening to DC talk about the win over the Packers. It is going to be like last year's Seahawks win
sabremike Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Besides the games vs the yinzers and ratbirds today was probably the toughest road game on our schedule so it is what it is.
Niners Fan in CT Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Fuck it. No point in watching CJ Beathard

I did really want to Not Watch for Moral Reasons this year. With the Niners' thus gimped and the Raiders in Barry Horowitz mode until Vegas now I can Not Watch because they suck and I can claim Morality.
Justin877 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I have a feeling Saints vs. Falcons OT is going to be way more exciting than any of the afternoon games.
Brian Fowler Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Is there a reason the Battle of Los Angeles kicked off so early?
hammerva Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I mean this "body weight" penalty or whatever the fuck it is officially called basically the Tony Sirgusa rule just 12 years after the fact. The fact they waited that long to create the rule tells you how little they really did care about it.

Niners Fan in CT Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Looks like Jimmy tore his ACL. So he's done. On the bright side the niners can get out of this contract in 2 years and he only counts as $20 million towards the cap next season. They will have tons of space to consider someone else or draft a guy. This season is over though.
Craig H Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Torn ACL and MCL was the last I saw. Oof. We should start a pool for the next QB to shred his knee. My money is on Trubisky.

My dad's a Raider/Niner fan like me but it was actually seeing Mike McCarthy screaming at the ref over the Clay Matthews penalty that inspired his latest Old Man Creative Protest idea. When the refs start jobbing you out on defense, you stop sending a defense out there (save for one token guy who can stand or better yet kneel on the goal line), tell the refs "I'm not letting my guys get injured for nothing. Since you've decided we're not allowed to compete, we won't. Fuck You." [The offense counterpart is to start punting on first down, for the sake of completionism] Embarrass the league into change, since there's no in-game recourse for bad penalty calls, the only other option is protest. Can't run any highlights from the game if one team refuses to play. The Packers almost did this with the meaningless extra point after the Fail Mary in Seattle, and they totally should have.
Craig H Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Speaking of Trubisky, HE FUCKING SUUUUUCKS. Previous series AZ blitzed and Mitch ran back a bunch of yards like a QB in Tecmo Bowl. This series he fumbled while scrambling. That's it. Ball wasn't ripped out or punched. Mitch just coughed it up.
