Execproducer
The way he is describing it sounds more like Guy Gardner. The only Black Adam I'm familiar with is a straight up villain. 39 minutes ago, Niners Fan in CT said: The Rock was never truly a face in WWE. odessasteps
I'd expect him to be an "excessive force" hero. It also depends if he is the ruler of Khandaq, so he could be a Namor type hero.
Brian Fowler
Black Adam was definitely an antihero for quite awhile in JSA. It leads to 52, where he whiplashes from heelish to babyface to genocidal in one of the great stories of 21st century DC Comics.
J.T.
I am guessing they will go with the justified heel angle with Black Adam that they would've used for Sinestro in a Green Lantern sequel had the first movie not sucked pig ass. The Natural
Joker (2019) with an R-rating, 2D only, origin about the greatest villain in comic book history, a small budget and without China makes a billion at the box office. Amazing performance, @Niners Fan in CT. Edited November 15, 2019 by The Natural
TheVileOne
Just my opinion, but I find the idea for a solo Black Adam movie silly. He's not a character who justifies his own film.

Only villains who can carry their own movie are Joker, Lex Luthor and Doctor Doom. Do we count Venom (2017)? Isn't that more of a anti-hero? Craig H
I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the Rock really isn't THAT familiar with Black Adam...
