Now that Rashad Evans has retired, Cat Zingano has to be the only active person on the roster to not have a win in the Reebok/USADA era and have competed in the UFC continuously before then. Claudio Silva was out for awhile but he did just beat Nordine Taleb. This seems like a must win.

Okay, that made me laugh a lot.

Barcelos and Volkanovski both looked tremendous from what I saw.

You gotta figure that all of the damage Elkins has taken over his career is going to start catching up to him. My God...

If I had to grade the performance of JDS against Ivanov, I would go a C or C+. I think age and rust played a factor along with Ivanov being sorta underrated as mid tier heavyweight. He got hit fairly often and got busted up. It's hard to tell if it's just his time out of the cage or his defense just being non-existent nowadays. Hence, I feel that his next fight should be against Derrick Lewis. Bad back every fight and all, Lewis would certainly be a much stiffer test than Ivanov.

Chad Mendes looked good after a slow start to his fight with Myles Jury. They could a number of ways with Mendes. They can throw him in there with Ortega for an interim 145 lbs title while Holloway is on the mend. If Ortega still wants to wait for Holloway, you can put him in there with the winner of Aldo vs. Stephens or Moicano vs. Cub Swanson. You can put him against Mirsad Bektic. All would be pretty good matchups.
