I think people undersell Mojo a bit. He was pretty solid in the team with Ryder.

Hot tag was a good role for him. Got to be energetic and his best stuff while not having to fill the bulk of a match.

He doesn't get a lot of love from the IWC crowd because he was a football guy instead of coming up through the indies, but Mojo was *great* as a face, which is much more difficult to do than being a great heel. He was likable and a natural at playing to the crowd. He never came off as hokey to me because the cornier aspects of his gimmick still seemed like they were just him turned up to 11. In that sense he reminds me a lot of DDP. He was so good as a face that I was concerned that they turned the wrong guy, but these promos are doing a lot to get me excited about Heel Mojo. Hopefully his ringwork will come along.

I'm going to be very curious to see everyone's reactions to the career-tag match.  Because it really felt like there was a very good match that got drowned in the hurricane of storytelling that was going on around it.

I thought it was actually really good storytelling in an eh match.  Shane refusing to count the pin was a great catalyst for what was about to come.  They did a great job making it so the heels won, the face counted the pin, and it seemed completely justified.

"So how we gonna book this ridiculous match, guys?"
"Remember that Brady Bunch episode where they divided the house in half?"
"No, that was a Gomer Pyle."
"Pretty sure that was a Jeffersons, Hayes."
"I didn't watch the Jeffersons."
"That figures. But I think it was an Alice."
"You mean they painted a line in the middle of the diner?"
"I think so."
"But that makes no sense."
"Neither does this fucking match."
"Fine, Dingbat, we'll do an Alice."

I thought this was a really good show.  It's funny how that works.  I had low expectations but this far exceeded them.

AJ Styles beating Jinder with the calf crusher.  I love it!  Secondary finishers!!

The tag title match was tons of fun.  I'm not mad the Usos won at all.  I was pulling for RUSEV DAY but it was nice to see them receive a loud reaction.  Rusev was over as fuck and loving every second of it.

He was so elated.   Oh and Gable was a machine.

Considering I could barely remember there was even a PPV tonight I thought this was surprisingly decent.

The US title match was solid considering the participants.  Ziggler winning was a surprise but it doesn't bother me as Corbin is a dullard unless he's being carried and Roode has done nothing for me since joining SD (though part of that is him being booked as a face so far).

Tag title match was good with Gable looking especially strong.  Russev being so over made me happy.  I like the Usos but they need a fresh feud.  Bring on the Bludgeon Bros.

Women's match was fine but I was distracted with work stuff during most of it.

Echoing the sentiments about the tag match.  I don't care about this Bryan/Shane feud, but if it ends with Bryan taking over as the boss of SD and Shane going away for an extended time then I'm all for it.  Shane is the clear heel here.  He tried to rally the whole brand to do an unprovoked attack on Raw and then punished Sami and Kevin when they wanted no part of it and just wanted to have their fair shake on the show.

The world title match seemed to go on forever.  Styles continues to show he can carry a can of dog food to something decent in the ring.

It was Happy Days with Pottsy and Ralph.

On the main event.

I asked Rev Ray on Twitter

"Who is Lucy and who is Ricky?"

I could never get tired of the Bludgeon Brothers mauling people.

I really wish Rusev Day had won the tag titles. WWE put the titles on Slater & Rhyno when their act was hot, and they should have done the same with Rusev & Aiden. Count me in wanting to see ten Lana's leaping.

I'm surprised Bobby Roode didn't win the US title.

Is Lucy the first known example of this?

According to TV tropes two sisters in England, one who was a socialist and the other a fascist sympathizer during the war allegedly did this in their apartment to quite the tabloid stir. That is the earliest instance I think they list.
