odessasteps Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Saw there’s a New Avengers box set coming, including commentaries with Gareth Hunt and Joanna Lumley on some. 1
Curt McGirt Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Get Carter had a 4K come out. I'd buy that for a dollar. 1
J.H. Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I swear Kino Lorber wants to bankrupt me! I just ordered Sugar Hill, a 70s exploitation revenge film featuring the mob, a nightclub and voodoo zombies! If only the Wesley Snipes movie of the same name had voodoo zombies in it... oh wait it did have mid-1990s Abe Vigoda in it so close enough! I can hardly wait! James 1
RazorbladeKiss87 Posted September 29 Posted September 29 70s Sugar Hill is a great, underrated movie. Might have to pick up the KL release.

HarryArchieGus Posted October 22 Posted October 22 (edited) I rarely have the opportunity to get in on these Criterion flash sales due to shipping costs to Canada, but this time around I have a trusty border crossing courier! I also had accumulated $65(!!!) in credit just from being a Channel subscriber. Here's my purchase list: I Am Cuba (Kalatozov) Letter Never Sent (Kalatozov) Inland Empire (Lynch) Lost Highway (Lynch) David Lynch: The Art Life Tie Me Up! Tie Me Down! (Almodovar) Stalker (Tarkovsky) A Man Escaped (Bresson) These are some of my favorite movies of all time, and titles I'd been wanting to grab for years now in some cases. So stoked to spend some time with each of these beautiful packages. Who else is getting in on this sale? Edited October 22 by HarryArchieGus 3

Brian Fowler Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I finally got around to picking up Band of Outsiders/Bande à part in the flash sale. Only had the most recent credit coupon left so that was enough for me given all my current circumstances. 1
Andrew POE! Posted October 30 Posted October 30 I ended up buying All We Imagine As Light, The Shrouds, Vermiglio, Misericordia, and Flow during the flash sale for less than $100.
Curt McGirt Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Kino's January schedule. One of these things is not like the others...
Andrew POE! Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Well, Barnes & Noble 50% off Criterion sale started. The damage from yesterday: Uncut Gems 4K, Shoeshine 4K, Choose Me, Let The Sunshine In, and My Own Private Idaho.
Andrew POE! Posted Monday at 12:09 PM Posted Monday at 12:09 PM Sunday i got Arthur Penn's Night Moves from Barnes & Noble. The local B&N has scant number of releases available - I'll likely get the box sets I'm wanting on Amazon. 1
Curt McGirt Posted Monday at 03:16 PM Posted Monday at 03:16 PM You should come over to my B&N, we got a whole wall of Criterion. 1
