Vinegar Syndrome is releasing a 4K of MAC & ME. Add that to their previous release of HOBGOBLINS, Deaf Crocodile’s MAGIC SWORD, and Severin’s release of POD PEOPLE, and you’ve got an MST3K boutique label starter pack.

Just need Manos: Hands of Fate in 4K and that Mexican Santa Claus movie in 4K.

That sound your hearing is Paul Rudd whipping out his credit card at light speed.

Dude, can you imagine hearing about that Bergman thing, being him. That had to feel like vindication for any wrong move he ever thought he made in his entire career, if not entire life.

Loaded October for Criterion, but I'm especially looking at Fire Walk With Me in 4K.

A History of Violence and The Shrouds in the same month. Also, Altered Freaking States???? (Where's The Devils/The Boy Friend/Savage Messiah/The Rainbow/Lair of the White Worm/Complete Ken Russell Criterion Box Set?)

I don't know if it's possible for anyone to like bad shark movies this much, but:

Diabolik had a "Dinged" copy of Terrorvision's Shoestring Slashers vol 1 blu ray boxed set on sale. Got it in the other day and so far watched Phantom Brother. A late 80s SOV slasher/horror/comedy. Perfect 2am viewing  when I couldn't sleep.

Car wreck supposedly kills 2 kids and both parents. The youngest kid surviving. He gets raised by the local inbred family. Rumor is the family home he will inherit when of age has money hidden in it.

He is now grown up. People show up to the family home and get killed by various members of his family. Seems they aren't dead...maybe!

Twist 10 minutes before the end is standard tripe for a low budget shot on cheap ass K-mart store brand VHS tape, then another twist appears right before the credits.

The entire film is up on YT on a few channels.

Buddy has assembled the longest known cut of The Fireworks Woman, the porn Wes Craven directed. Upscaled it and released it on a Blu Ray.

Got my copy in today ,now seeing if I can talk her out of watching whatever is planned.

Spent way too much money on Severin's summer sale but, other than the box set, everything I picked up was $10-20 CAD. So I justify it that way

Thee purchases:

All The Haunts Be Ours: A Compendium Of Folk Horror Vol. 2

Byleth: The Demon of Incest (Savona, 1972)

Don't Change Hands (Vecchiali, 1975)

Escape from Women's Prison (Brusadori, 1978)

Antropophagus (D'Amato, 1980)

Violence in a Women's Prison (Mattei, 1982)

Gwendoline (Jaeckin, 1984)

Revenge of the Living Dead Girls (Reinhard, 1987)

Does anyone have any opinions on these?

THE SHARK HUNTER,

MONSTER SHARK

NIGHT OF THE SHARKS

My wife is intrigued by all things Franco Nero, while the Treat Williams one looks fun.
