J.T. Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I totally forgot that this was going down the same weekend as Canelo / GGG.
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 13, 2017 Author Posted September 13, 2017 Alex Reyes is Mike Perry's new opponent.
TheVileOne Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Thiago Alves had didn't want to lose-itis.

Alves stayed in Florida with his family during Irma, but he couldn't get a flight out when he was suppose to. Lombard went days ahead of schedule, and it looks like Jotko who was gonna stay originally took an early flight out.
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Durinho just starched poor Jason Saggo
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Of course, Uriah Hall wins by knockout in the 2nd round after getting 10-8'd in round one.
twiztor Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 i didn't think Hall was making it out of the first. what a difference a round makes
twiztor Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 i can see why it was stopped, but i feel that was a tad early.
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 I would've probably given Hamilton 5-10 more seconds especially since I don't think that punch was that devastating, but you gotta show some sign that you're recovering AND still able to fight on.
twiztor Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 maybe if Ledet came to fight he might've won. dude jabbed for 15 minutes and looked dejected he didn't get the win. edit: oh, Ledet did win? my stream glitched for the announcement, but came back on when he was walking back. cruz made it sound like he lost
twiztor Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Usman with a great KO, left Moraes laying with his legs in the air. scary dude! 1
Jiji Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 I remember reading Bloody Elbow's scouting report on the brightest prospects in MMA a few years back and they gushed about Usman's strength and wrestling ability. He's rounding out his game and welterweights should be scared now.
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Just now, twiztor said: Usman with a great KO, left Moraes laying with his legs in the air. scary dude! Usman spun Serginho to the ground as he was going down with that punch. Man, if you're a world champion in BJJ, you just gotta concede sometimes that a takedown would be the smart option even against another grappler.
TheVileOne Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 So yeah, go ahead and book Usman vs. Dos Anjos and make that your title eliminator fight. Makes sense.

Makes sense. There is a guy at Combat Club who might get a welterweight title shot soon, but I don't think it will be Usman.
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Gillespie has had a impressive UFC run so far.
Elsalvajeloco Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 I dunno why fighters take a fight with Anthony Smith. Not a worldbeater, but he always comes to fight and is super, super tough.
TheVileOne Posted September 17, 2017 Posted September 17, 2017 Anyone can beat Hector Lombard this point. The dude is a joke and the most overhyped MMA prospect of all time.
