Somebody on the booking committee has some weird fetishes.

Whoa, that escalated quickly! "You're gonna regret this!" "Yeah, well you're gonna die!"

Sad thing is, as horrible as the Spud/Swoggle stuff is (and this in particular is pure shit) I'd rather see this any day than the Josh/JB bullshit.  Kind of like a lesser of two evils type of thing.

But I'd also peg Spud, especially, but even Swoggle as better wrestlers and actors.

Well this is the same company that had dwarfs jacking off in trash cans on the first month or three of their shows.

Wasn't that actually the very first scene on the very first show?

Their first show opened with the Flying Elvi (Jimmy Yang, Sonny Siaki, Jorge Estrada) defeating AJ Styles, Low Ki, and Jerry Lynn.

I didn't mind this episode aside from the silly music being played during the contract signings and the Spud/Swoggle match. Impact does some really dumb things here and there but overall I think they're trying more than say ROH they also make sure that their TV tapings don't have a weird overlap with their PPVs.

And the main event of the taping was the three guys that lost, and Psychosis, competing for the X division title. Good match, but not exactly a logical reward for a previous win. So it's probably half the history of the division in a nutshell.

I feel like Slammiversary is shaping up to be a potentially really solid card with the top matches having a big time feel. Looking forward to it. Was hoping Matt Sydal would find a spot on the show as he's been a highlight since debuting. Did kinda like the Abyss tease for the Slammiversary match.

Loving the Rosemary/Sienna feud, great work from both. This is pretty cool:

Decent show. The good was good (contract signing stuff, x tag match, Slammi build) but the bad was REALLY bad (spud/hornswoggle, the announcers, etc).

A lot of this is Dutch and Jeff writing stupid Memphis circa 1986 shit to entertain themselves instead of objectively trying to better the product. This, combined with their buddies hogging TV time, is going to hurt them in the long run erase the good that they're trying to do.

Its the same kind of crap Jarrett did in 2006, when Earl Hebner and Larry Z were focal parts of storylines for an endless amount of months. Now we have Bruce Prichard, hornswoggle, and Karen.

Best thing about this show is hopefully it's the last with the Josh Matthews vs Borash feud. Those two on commentary make this show a chore to get through even on DVR. I'm guessing they didn't hype of the Marufuji match because they edited TV before they finalized it? PPV looks ok but nothing must watch.
