Geth heavy - I sometimes roll Tali/Garrus

Tali & Garrus are Shadow Team on Virmire.  Then I switch to Wrex & Garrus for the rescue.

As far as the Paramour achievements go, I think you are right.  Liara is the only partner you can keep for all three games unless that little tiff you have with Ashley on Horizon in ME2 counts as "rekindling a romantic relationship."

I have forgotten how much I have missed Codex Narration guy.

Yeah - I was giddy because as I mentioned I forgot parts were narrated

Bless the devs who added the extra cover for the Saren Mk 2 boss fight.  RIP Saren, you poor misguided bastard.

I may fire up ME2 sometime tomorrow or Sunday.

I am not ashamed to admit that I used the infinite Paragon points glitch to get myself to Charm 12

I was looking at a checklist and I didn't have a lot of options left outside of doing Bringing Down the Sky which I didn't want to get involved with right now.

I forgot how the game will go "We know you only have one Turian on your crew but here is 4 copies of the same exact piece of armor!"

We will not talk about how many sets of Krogan armor I turned into Omni-Gel from the start of Ilos to the end of the game.

I also cannot understand this fascination the game had with giving me Phoenix medium armor for the male Turian on my crew when I hacked Medical Equipment loot boxes.   I've gotten at least one set of Phoenix heavy armor for a Krogan.

Bullshit armor loot in ME1 is why I am glad ME2 and ME3 converted to static skins.  I am also glad we got an appearance pack in ME2 to take the big gash out of Garrus's armor.

I did think it was dumb that Miranda got a hardsuit skin and Jacob did not.

Fired up ME2 just to get the prologue out of the way.  Actually had to start a game, delete it, and start a new one because I wanted to flip through the interactive comic book.

Freedom's Progress wasn't that hard, but I am back to having shields the strength of tissue paper.  For some reason I recall the YMIR Mech boss being a lot meaner in old school ME2, but we whooped the shit out of that tin can this time around.  Miranda & Jacob smooshed it with a Biotic Combo to finish it off.

I thought I would be rusty when it came to the scissors paper rock relationship between which powers are the most effective against shields and armor, but it was like riding a bike.  Didn't take long to remember.

Has the new update hit Xbox?  I think my kill count achievements are still bugged.  I'm pretty sure I've exterminated over 250 enemies by now, so I should've gotten the first achievement.  Maybe the update has processed since the game is counting my headshot kills towards the Headhunter achievement in ME2.  Perhaps the first body count achievement will unlock soon.

I tapped out shortly after boarding the new Normandy.  I talked to Kelly and then parked myself at the helm.  I will talk to Joker and tour the ship with EDI later on.

All I know is a finally got the achievement for using Wrex tonight- only took what felt like 20 missions

Really?  I got the ones for Kaiden and Ashley in no time.  You do like a billion side jobs while tracking down Garrus and Wrex before you go shoot up Chora's Den.

For once, I am going to be drastically behind everyone else.

I haven't even gotten to Liara yet.

I slept in after getting the second shot and then going to work Thursday night, so no time to play today.

The others all happened real quick. Wrex’s for some reason wouldn’t pop.

I am guessing it just had to do with which ones the game counts and also when it considers the task complete

Eh, I'm piddling around, got bent after doing the Lunar Rogue VI mission I got an odd glitch where it dumped my mods after converting some to Omnigel (I used the junk option), and softlocked the game... back before I finished the VI mission.

I had a glitch on the moon where I couldn't enter any of the bases or get back in the Mako. Just had to reload a save.

Yeah, I hit that glitch once or twice during the Rachi quest line in the Stygian Theta cluster.

Ken, Gabby, Chief Gardner.  I have missed you guys SO MUCH~!  Now let us see if we can make it through the Normandy Crash Site side mission without cutting our wrists.  Then we'll go get the Hammerhead and head off to Omega.

I’m pretty sure all I have left is the final mission, but I had two more side quests suddenly appear after the ExoGeni quest line. So it’s those three things, and try to complete my romance with Liara so I can pop that trophy for the overall trilogy trophy list. I didn’t want to do a romantic thing with her, but I guess no one else is attracted to a super paragon apparently.

Aaaand I still have a handful of the biotic trophies to get too (Stasis, Barrier, Singularity, etc). I’ll have to roll out with Liara and Kaidan from here on tho, since I think he’s the only one with the Neural Shock ability and I’ve barely used that at all. I’m assuming these biotic trophies only pop when you, the player, tell the characters to do the specific ability, and not when they do it on their own - right?

Oh and I sacrificed Ashley this time around. I don’t really like either of the human characters, but I’m trying to do things differently than I did back in 2007/2008 when I played the game.

Yeah, if you're not a Sentinel with the Medicine skill, you have to depend on Kaiden for Neural Shock. Same as if you're not playing an Adept and Liara is the only one with Singularity.

As for whether or not it counts if you proc powers manually or if the characters are set to active, I am not sure.

God, I have forgotten so many of the little things like the alien porn datapad you can buy from the Batarian merchant on Omega.

It used to be that you could just biotic power a wall and get the achievement but I am not sure if that holds true for this version

So, I played late last night when I was very sleepy and should have just gone to bed. I went to Dr. Michel to sell off a bunch of stuff since my inventory was 280/300. I start selling stuff off and it's all going fine.

And then I doze off. When I come to, almost everything is gone. My thumb must have just kept clicking x when I was out. Thankfully I reloaded a save and did it all over again.

Other than that, I must have been in a mood last night because I wasn't having anyone's bullshit. I've played almost strictly as a Paragon, but I let Toombs just execute that doctor, some admiral started talking shit about the Normandy and I told him to go fuck himself and get away from the Normandy, and instead of choosing the blue paragon option when confronting Dr. Michel's blackmailers, I went renegade there too.

I'm thinking there isn't much left to do because I'm already finding level 8 weapons and mods. I also haven't spent a cent and I'm over 1.5 million. Maybe I'll go on a little spending spree, but I don't know who is the best person to buy from.

If they reintroduce multiplayer, Rippa will probably quit Destiny 2.  We played ME3 multiplayer for years after the game release.  If we repeat that feat, my kid will graduate from college while we're still killing Collectors and putting people on our No Revive list.

Our friendship will end after the fucker steals one too many of my Grabs.

Zaeed - "THAT'S GODDAMN SUICIDE~!"

It will never happen but if they brought back multiplayer and then said “here are all your old characters” I would lose my shit

So, I'm the only one that ratted Schells out... after winning 5 hands of high stakes Quasar?

Nope!

Also, I found out I could kill Conrad in ME1 accidentally. I guess I can stop collecting the Matriarch stuff.

Chatting with the merc group leaders before betraying them to Archangel has caused me to realize that I need to hit up teerepublic and buy one of these babies.

Jentha's so nice and cordial for a merc.  It's a shame I'm going to have to kill her.

The incidental music that plays during Mordin's recruitment mission is so disturbing.  You can hear all of the humanoid hacking and coughing noises in the background; a constant reminder of the disease spreading everywhere.

I find the zone being quarantined because of the plague a terribly appropriate theme given the current real life pandemic.   Too bad we don't work as fast as Salarians do but then again if we did, we'd only have 40 year life spans.
