RIPPA Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Play-In Thread NXT Takeover San Antonio: Bobby Roode vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Sublime Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Nak may not have had a great year but Roode had one high point and it was against Shinsuke and that wasn't even Naks best match. 1
Chicken Sandwich Carl Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 I almost voted Roode just on my sheer disappointment of Nak, but upon analyzation, Nak was better this year. I think it's closer than the score will show, though. 1
cubbymark Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Nakamura and it's not even close. Bobby Roo getting squashed for being so bleh, deservedly so.

J.T. Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Bad break for Roode in the brackets. Nak should slaughterize him.
Matt D Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Sympathy vote for Roode (after checking the vote tally) since at the house show I saw them both at, he had the better night.

NikoBaltimore Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I have more to say about Nakamura in the next round, but as glorious as Roode's run has been in NXT he got a really bad draw here.
OSJ Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 This isn't even close... And I'm sure calling the poor man "Booby" didn't help his cause.
supremebve Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 The two best singles matches I watched live this year were Bobby Roode vs Cedric Alexander in "Baltimore" and Shinksuke Nakamura vs. Sami Zayn in Dallas. Sorry Bobby, but as good as that match was, it wasn't even close to the Dallas match. 1
