hammerva Posted April 28 Posted April 28 The other funny Dianna story that just came out is that she created a Spotify playlist in December 2022 called "Turnin the Page" and it was shared with a user name of "Mike" . The "big deal" on it is that the Titans were in a 4 game losing streak at the time which I am sure is a complete coincidence

Dolfan in NYC Posted April 28 Posted April 28 Mind you, the source is the Daily Mail, so .... grains of salt. Lots and lots and LOTS of em. But the Patriots are reportedly looking at Mike Tomlin if Vrabel resigns in the wake of all this. This story needs to stop, because it cannot possibly get any funnier.

Oh, I imagine it can get funnier to us, but I can't even imagine how unfunny this is for anyone who cares about Dianna Russini.

I'd feel slightly more empathy for Russini if she hadn't spent her entire career publicly telling everyone what a terrible marriage she was in and the lack of respect she had for her partner. (Note - I do not envy what's she's had to go through to get to this level. But theoretically, you can do it without telling everyone how much your husband sucks. It's fucking hack comedy and it has been for decades.) And for him to resign, it would have to take something more him-focused. I've heard rumors of another shoe dropping, but I'll believe it when I see it. 1

You made a commitment to that person, and in my eyes, that commitment takes precident over making me chuckle. 2

Isn't Tomlin basically in a forced season off because he still had a year left on his Pittsburgh deal? I mean, I guess New England could work out a deal, but it would likely be pricey. (Worked for them with Bill, of course.)

She once had a friend who would spend all her time talking about how awful her husband was and then was like, "he should hang out with Tabe!" And my wife's response was, "why would I suggest my husband hang out with someone who is terrible?" 1

Well Mike Vrabel decides to go a much different and much cheaper route Granted this is the Post so 80% chance this is complete bullshit. But still funny as fuck Based on absolutely nothing, my gut says Vrabel's wife has known about this for quite awhile and doesn't care other than the public embarrassment.

About two months later, she was hired to work in a different department. I guarantee that she would never do the same to him. It's just a shitty thing to do for the person you've decided to spend your life with. Even if they get on your damn nerves, that's still the one person you should never diminish in front of others. 5 minutes ago, Tabe said: Based on absolutely nothing, my gut says Vrabel's wife has known about this for quite awhile and doesn't care other than the public embarrassment. I don't know Mike Vrabel's wife, but unless she's unlike every woman I've ever met, public embarrassment will make her care very quickly, even if she's never cared before. 1
Travis Sheldon Posted April 29 Posted April 29 I'd imagine the owner of the team wouldn't want allegations like that associated with the Patriots. 1 3

RIPPA Posted April 29 Author Posted April 29 For the record - the Daily Mail story itself says that it isn't saying that Vrabel is about to lose his job but basically says "if New England is forced to fire him because the team is shitty and/or because they Russini stuff gets worse and worse - Mike Tomlin would be their first choice".
dogwelder Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Inside Mike Vrabel’s 24-hour emergency marriage summit with wife in Utah after Dianna Russini photo scandal Quote Mike and Jen Vrabel flew to Park City, Utah, for an emergency 24-hour marriage summit — just days after Page Six published exclusive pics of the former athlete cozying up to NFL reporter Dianna Russini at a bar back in 2020. We’re told that the New England Patriots head coach and his wife enjoyed dinner at an upscale Park City hotel restaurant around 4 p.m. local time on Sunday, April 26. “They were cordial and talkative, but not overly flirty,” a source exclusively told Page Six, noting that the couple “talked” and ate for around an hour and a half. “They seemed fine. It was a friendly, regular meal.” The elegant restaurant, located inside a four-star Marriott-owned hotel, offers several gourmet entrees, ranging from a $123 Porter House for two to a Tomahawk Ribeye for $165. It also offers signature appetizers, such as seared ahi tuna ($24), to sizzling crab cakes ($32) and veal osso buco ($21).

Brian Fowler Posted April 30 Posted April 30 It's one thing if once in awhile you vent to a friend about a significant other. Someone you love and usually get along with but just that day you need to let out some steam over some stupid argument. It's another when you just constantly bitch about them day after day after day. Why are you with them? 4 1

Prosecutors announced DK Metcalf will not be charged in this incident. 2

You know, even if I thought up a "brilliant" scheme to antagonize a professional athlete to the point that maybe I can sue him for battery or whatever, DK Metcalf would be way, way down the list of guys I decided to fuck with. 2 1

I honestly believe that an asked for ass whooping should not just legal but encouraged. Seriously, there are better ways to make money. This dude woke up one morning and thought, "I'm going to antagonize DK Metcalf until he beats me half to death in front of an audience, that's how I'll make my fortune." 1 1

Just look at the dude! Go after the kicker or something, at least (not really, obviously. The scrawniest punter in the NFL will still beat most people's ass, plus it's asshole behavior writ large.)

No kidding. If at some point in your relationship or marriage you aren't going on vacation, you're going on what sounds like a corporate retreat, it's time to pack it in.
