There are so many valid reasons to grab some asshole like DK grabbed that asshole.  We live in a society with an idea of justifiable homicide.  We should definitely extend this idea to justifiable punching people in the face.  I'm just saying, if someone chooses to behave in a way that would get you punched in the face, you should probably be allowed to punch that person in the face.  Sometimes enough is enough, and you either need to shut up or face the consequences.

Social media made y'all way too comfortable with disrespecting people and not getting punched in the face for it." -Mike Tyson [1227x931] : r/QuotesPorn

We can't have nice things. Cursed man. The Falcons are cursed. But I guess those concerns about him coming out of college weren't lies after all.

It gets worse when you read the report of what, allegedly, happened

Quote

Jackson, who plays for the Los Angeles Sparks, told police that she saw Pearce following her car in a white Lamborghini SUV on Saturday morning. When Jackson's car stopped at a red light, Pearce got out of his vehicle and attempted to open her car door on the driver's side.

Jackson accelerated away and started driving toward the Doral (Florida) Police Department. Pearce reentered his vehicle and continued following her. During the drive to the police station, Jackson said Pearce "intentionally collided into the rear of her vehicle" with his SUV. As she got to the intersection near the police station, Jackson said Pearce cut her off with his car and when she attempted to back out and get away, he used his car to collide with hers head-on.

The affidavit stated that photographs of Jackson's vehicle showed damage consistent with her account.

Doral police officers responded to the scene after Jackson called. According to the affidavit, they saw Pearce standing on the outside of his SUV on the driver's side with the door open. An officer pulled a gun on Pearce and ordered him to get on the floor. Pearce got back in his car and closed the door. The officer opened the door, but Pearce shut it again, locked it and drove away.

While Pearce was driving away, the SUV struck an officer in his left knee. The affidavit describes it as "intentionally in an attempt to evade arrest."

Police followed Pearce's vehicle in cars until Pearce crashed at an intersection. Pearce then got out of his car and fled on foot. Officers were able to catch up with him, though Pearce "began to resist arrest by tensing his arms and not allowing officers to apprehend him."

Former NY Jet first round pick (2016) Darron Lee has been arrested for First Degree Murder in the death of his former girlfriend.

He is being held without bond and could face the death penalty.

The fact that we haven't arrested about 34 different billionaires already is insane.  People are digging up all types of shit that makes all of this shit even worse than what I originally believed, and I believed this was about the sex trafficking of children.  We're fucked as a society.

An arbitrator sided with the NFL regarding the NFLPA's team report card saying that publicly releasing them violated the CBA.  The NFLPA is no longer allowed to publicly release them

ESPN says this effort was led by Jets owner Woody Johnson. (F's across the board)

Can't cover up your murder crimes obviously.

But I've got full faith that we'll get there eventually.

As much as Pablo Torre has done great work in showing a lot of issues in the NBA and NFL in the last year,  the end results in terms of changing/making things right has been a complete nothingburger.   There has barely an acknowledgement of the issue with the Clippers and Aspiration.  I guess the NBA has dealt with the gambling scandal but bare minimum.  Now the NFL Players Association basically double down like they are saying "and the problem is? "

I 100% agree with what you are saying here, but I would like to point out that a man was convicted of 34 felonies and was elected president in the same year.  This ain't a Pablo Torre thing, this is an America thing.

As was pointed out in the latest PTFO...   Super Bowl 62  (February 2028) does NOT have an official date set yet.

Putting two and two together, Florio says that the NFL is going to use the extremely weak union head to try to push through an 18 game schedule as soon as next year (the '27-'28 season). The Super Bowl would be on President's Day weekend (meanwhile, NASCAR can fuck itself).

Then as soon as the next CBA, they can push it out to a 20 game schedule with the carrots being no pre-season games and expansion.

If true, it kind of blows away the "Puca was just an easily influenced kid manipulated by Adin Ross" argument.

Puca Nacua is the #1 draft pick for the guy everyone wants to love, but we'll all eventually hate.
