Pete Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Watching the new Apple Music ad, did anyone else catch the license plate on James Corden's car? I popped...
Death From Above Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Really good chance that across all sports in the universe, Tottenham will be the most successful team that I'm personally invested in this season. Prepare for bad words.

The Natural Posted September 21, 2016 Posted September 21, 2016 Jordan Henderson's cracking goal against Chelsea may already have sewn up Goal of the Season. Joey Barton is a jackass but you already know this.
The Natural Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Just swore at the library computer seeing the Mancester United vs. Leicester City scoreline, 4-0 to Man Utd in the first half.
The Natural Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Bolton Wanderers vs. Bradford City in League One today. #2 vs. #4. First time Phil Parkinson goes up against Bradford City after leaving the Bantams in the summer. Phil Parkinson did a great job at Bradford City. Cheers, Parky.
steve Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 I don't post here that much, because half the time I just honestly forget. Anyway, I support Liverpool. I love the current makeup of the squad. Not just because of the result today, but I love the way this team plays football. I hope that we can get back to consistent European competition soon, because I'd hate for this group to get frustrated and leave like so many others have recently.
Jiji Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 That was such a superb first half at Anfield. Klopp's magic is starting to come to fruition, with incredible technique, defensive unity and the highest work ethic possible. The second Arsenal goal was a thing of absolute beauty. Just majestic passing and movement that sliced Chelsea to bits. Goal of the year contender.

Death From Above Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 I have no idea why they insisted on keeping Rooney as captain and literally messing up 4 or 5 guy's positions and roles just to accommodate him when he's done nothing of any real importance for basically 2 years. Anyway, you know who is a really good team? Not Chelsea. These are good times. 1
AxB Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Man City beat Chelsea 2-0 to win their first league title. Women's Super League.

odessasteps Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 I thought England had avoided stuff like this by not picking 'Arry.

Would be nice to see him come play for Metro but I doubt the Austrian overlords would be willing to pay for a big name.

Well his brother did play for Metro (who drafted him as a favor to the league) so him playing for us would be fitting. If they had the nerve to try and put him on boy city he'll tell them to scratch their ass.

sabremike Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 NYRB win their CCL group by virtue of their scoreless draw against Antigua of Guatemala and advance to the knockout stage in February. Pitch was so waterlogged that they should've had a fifth official to serve as a lifeguard.
