I asked this before, but are people sure everyone named in this suit is actually aware of it? I've actually been involved in several class action suits, and I never talked to any of the lawyers responsible for them. All they did was put my name on the list and then send me an e-mail or letter telling me how I could take myself off of it. I can see a lot of these guys having just never received or read the letter/e-mail that was supposed to make them aware of the lawsuit.

this was one of my first thoughts as well.

God damn, Jerry Lawler is unbearable. Can he get drafted to TNA's storage locker/office, but kept away from anything to do with the Hardy's?

After reading Brock's book, Jerry still being in the life at 70 makes even less sense because we know he has outside interest and skills. Was he just really bad with his money or something?

BTW - rumblings are that in the Sin Cara/Simon Gotch fight Sin Cara got the better of it

That would make him - by my count - 4-0 in backstage fights

You know if wrestlers just joined SAG or AFTRA back in the day when they had the chance, they'd have insurance, pensions, all that good stuff. But nope. They didn't want to and here we are with all these guys leeching onto some ambulance chaser. Some probably have a legitmate claim to make while others are just looking for a quick buck because the fan festival racket is drying up.

The WWE is probably going to have to do a couple of things here. One, scale back on shows just so guys stop becoming dope fiends. In today's market there's no real need for them to be running 300 plus shows and these guys into the ground. It's really a miracle more major injures like Rollin's freak knee blow out don't happen.

They'll have to set up a fund for retired wrestlers. Obviously they don't have NFL money, but it needs to be something to show they aren't heartless monsters. I'm sure NBC could figure that out for them. The old guys get a small quartley check. The WWE looks good in the public eye again. Problem solved.

Rollins does crossfit.  Those injuries are more common than you realize.

Since they are independent contractors and there is no union do not expect a fund.

Or conversely: Sin Cara now 0-4 in maintaining his chill.

I know we aren't talking about the picks but the interviews on this backstage draft special are showing that scripting is killing some people's ability to ad-lib. So many awkward pauses and random directions.

They need to send Kalisto back to developmental and make him do 12 hours of promo class a day.  That was probably the worst promo I have seen on the major stage of Pro Wrestling.  Holy shit....what a mess..

What were the other 3?

Sheamus is 1.

The other two are unclear

Of course the source for all the fights is Konnan so take that with appropriate amount of salt

EDIT: Depending on the version of the story you believe - Drew Galloway/McIntyre was another

Also by my count depending on the rumors you believe, but Konnan is a terribly unreliable narrator.  I have no problem believing that Hunico is a legit ass beater or that Sheamus takes his gimmick home with him.

It's kind of funny that Mick Foley used to be billed as Cactus Jack Manson, and he now looks like a dead ringer for Charles Manson.

Dude, he weighs more than three Charles Mansons

My guess is it would be like some of the slugs I work with. They don't do shit and they are getting paid a nice check. Why would you stop?

I meant facially.

I am just messing with you, man.  :)

TBH, I always assumed the reason Foley picked the last name Manson for the Cactus Jack gimmick is because he knew he resembled Charles Manson.  Never bothered to fact check that.

Nah it is cause Lawler loves wrestling. Last year he worked a show at a casino in North Mississippi. I ended up being part of the video crew that show. Found out later on what Lawler got paid and it was cheap.

I can believe his head weighs the same as old man Charles Manson.  Foley's hair and beard are something else.  Who knows what is hiding in there?  Could be anything. A family of racoons wouldn't surprise me much.

I know he's a legend and everything, but between looking like an unhealthy vagrant and the "diva creep" stuff, I'm surprised the company puts him on TV.

I think it started as a rib on Foley in World Class because Manson was the last name of the woman stalking him when he worked there.

I think the woman stalking him starred using that name after talking about being married to him in the letters she was sending him, so he had the name first.

Brawl for All 2 with Sin Cara as the new Dr Death? Who is the Bart Gunn in this scenario do you think?

I'm not sure, but if Brock's going to keep his piss clean from now on I know who Butterbean will be.

Like Brock and Punk both said, there are other things in life than wrestling. Hey if the guy loves it that much, great for him. Just sorta figured at his age he would want to do something else in life. Guys probably seen every hotel in the world by now and that's got to be boring by now if you don't have to do it.
