Territorial Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 Ox Baker's Kelly Clarkson tribute album would be a license to print money. 1
Happ Hazzard Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Is that Saddam and Adnan Al Kaissie?
Happ Hazzard Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 WWE should have used that picture when Adnan was managing Slaughter. 1
JustJay Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 A lot more here http://www.wwe.com/classics/wcw/rare-unseen-wcw-photos
cool arrow Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 It's really no wonder why Austin started shaving his head.
piranesi Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Ox Baker, looking less scary than usual. Every time I see this photo I get the giggles because it looks like he's auditioning for American Idol. I picture him belting out "Girl on Fire" in a falsetto. I imagine he's giving a speech running for student council vice president. WE NEED MORE MONEY FOR BANNERS DURING SPIRIT WEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!! I've been at this school for twenty-seven years. I KNOW ABOUT BANNERRRRRRSSSSSS!!!!! 1
Lazlo Woodbine Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 WWE should have used that picture when Adnan was managing Slaughter. I think they did use it, or at least mentioned something about it.
Swift Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 http://robschamberger.tumblr.com/post/60582730849/acrylic-oil-spray-and-paint-marker-on-24-x-24 There's some interesting ones on there (I got a chuckle out of Audrey Hepburn as Macho Man for some reason), but I think it's hard to top the Dutch picture. Though there are some nice Bowie ones on there, The Green Bastard might do it for me. 3
Marty Sugar Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 I own two of Schamberger's prints: the Savage one and the Eddie one. They're amazing. I gave the Undertaker "21-0" as a gift to my best friend and he was speechless.

Yes the accident was WrestleMania weekend but I think he was able to ultimately recover or recreate most of it. I remember his tweets after getting back home 'Mania weekend talked about feverishly re-doing some that were destroyed.
cool arrow Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 A bit of background here. In 1969 Verne Gagne tried (unsuccessfully) to invade the Los Angeles territory. This is the card from his first (only?) show, which actually drew 3000 but that was much less than Mike LeBell was drawing regularly. And if anyone cares, the most expensive tickets were about $32 in 2013 money. Such a deal. 2
Curt McGirt Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Hall not only wearing his name on his shirt in Botchamania lettering but also his name ON HIS HAT is just too much. I could make some really horrible jokes behind this. That Schamberger page is just fantastic. 1
Playa Shunna Ver 3.0 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Cody Hall is one tall motherfucker. JR is pretty tall as well.

Two things: 1) I love the face Bruiser is giving 2)Astro-ette is one of the best wrestler names I've ever heard, male or female. Even if it is slightly dated.
RonL21 Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Cody Hall is one tall motherfucker. JR is pretty tall as well. On Austin's podcast, I think Nash said he's actually shrunk about 3-4 inches because of his back issues
cool arrow Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 The late Frenchy Bernard, looking very dapper
Mookieghana Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Adam Pearce can't believe how close to naked Danielson he gets to stand.
Log Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 No love for Hard-Boiled Haggerty on that poster? That might be the best wrestling name I've ever heard.
