Burgundy LaRue
Dean Ambrose on a show riding around on his high-tech, super-powered boat and fighting crime and evil bad guys with occasional cameos by Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins would be the greatest TV show since The Wire. You all know this. Don't deny it. How WWE keeps missing the chance to put Ambrose and Reigns into a buddy cop movie is beyond me. It would probably do decent sales. Infinit
Chavo Guerrero Jr had a guest role on this week's lucha themed episode of Grimm. Could totally tell it was Chavito under the mask by his mannerisms.

Casey
TMZ says the $115 mil is just compensatory damages, and that punitive damages could be as high as nearly $350 million. Hulk Hogan getting $465mil for a website posting his sex tape seems just as disgusting as the idea that Hulk Hogan has a sex tape. Didn't Erin Andrews only get $55mil? What's going on here? Legally speaking, Hogan probably won't get anything close to even $115 million. He might get a lot, of course, but not that much. It all depends on the appeal (which usually tend to lower the amount) and whether or not Gawker can even stay in business.

Spritenaut 32
Is that Hulk Hogan's big "champagne bottle", or Terry Bollea's? I'm confused.

SorceressKnight
It's Rip's So if Terry Bollea doesn't have a ten inch penis, and Hulk Hogan does, how big would Rip's be- and does this make Vince's original plan for See No Evil to be a sequel to No Holds Barred? I think Terry and Hulk's cancel each other out, so Rip is like Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs.
AquariumDrinker
I'm in awe of Hogan's legal team for convincing a jury he had actual damages. This is a dangerous precedent, and while Gawker may be scumbags, it could hurt real journalists.
Cristobal
If they aren't scumbags doing scumbag things like Gawker did, they should be fine.
MonteCarl
Didn't the release of the tape show his racist stuff and thus lose him his WWE contract and other endorsement deals? That would certainly be direct damages to him due to the release, probably not near $115 million, but at least the low 7 digits
Brian Fowler
But the lawsuit want about the tape leaking at all. It was about the clips they put online. In fact, that stuff didn't leak until after he sued

The Nature Boy
This lawsuit was in Florida, right? Home of America's most comical bankruptcy laws? They ain't paying shit. Bankruptcy is a federal thing. States can't handle bankruptcies.
AxB
I thought the whole OJ moves to Florida thing was because in Florida you can declare yourself bankrupt without actually having to prove you haven't got any money... so if you've lost a civil lawsuit to somebody and have to give them millions of dollars, you can just keep your money and not pay them? CookieMueller
I've been very curious about this as well. If Gawker folds and/or declares bankruptcy how does the debt shift to a single person (or even a group of people)?
