Gallagher and Alexander should be two of the main guys they build the division around. I've loved the CWC quite a bit, but I really don't have high hopes for a cruiser division on Raw. I think they should put the SDL women on Raw and put the cruisers on SDL.

They should have had this from the start.  A bonus would be Mauro being very familiar with the cruserweights and that could only help matters.  If there's talk of changing things up with the brands this would be a nice way to fix something that was broken.

I think the cruiserweights will be fine on Raw (Plus it allows more time for longer matches) IF (and this is a big if) they keep the cruisers mostly separate from the heavyweights.  That is, guys can move up out of the division and go after other titles, but cruiserweights should NOT be used to put over guys being built up to face Reigns or guys making their debuts, or having an angry Brock Lesnar interrupting a cruiserweight title match to beat up both guys to show mad he is.  i.e. all the stuff they used to do

This was the most recent WON

Now Pete brought up Ibushi and HHH "working" folks

All I know is that the HHH tend to be legit as they do them for reporters as that is one of those things were they want it to be treated as real. Not saying it didn't happen - but it would be the first time since they started doing this that they were straight up lying in them.

Well, Trips could be completely truthful when he says Ibushi hasn't signed anything. Doesn't mean they might not have a verbal/handshake agreement for him to sign on when all is said and done.

It could also be Triple H calling Ibushi's bluff, and saying they're only interested in using signed talent going forward as a way of telling Ibushi that it's all or nothing.  Of course, Ibushi may not actually be bluffing...

Be interesting to see how that fits in with Dar vs ZSJ. You'd think Sabre would be the favourite for that match, but Dar is the one under contract and already being featured in videos on Raw, so...

Well - non tournament matches have been taped. Unclear if they will air though

I'm avoiding spoilers, but Kendrick and Ibushi are the two best guys left in the tourney so I'm pumped for their match.

I wonder how far Kendrick will go in next year's March Madness based on his work in the CWC alone. He's wrestling like he's the best worker in America right now.

They have announced that tonight's show will be

Ibushi/Kendrick and Tozawa/Metalik

So for those who read the spoilers - they are airing things out of order

I can't believe that I'm this hyped for Ibushi/Kendrick of all things. Like at Shield/Wyatts at Elimination Chamber levels of hype.

Would it be possible to get a spoiler thread for the non-tourney match?  No big deal if not.

What does the remaining taping schedule look like? Are the finals going to be taped on the same night as the semis?

Last episode will be a live special with the Semis and the Finals and presumably a non-tournament match or two.

Somehow I managed to avoid all CWC spoilers and felt pretty proud that I can see all these matches without knowing who would win.

Then in reading today's Observer there a section about the quarterfinal and I found out one of the matchups, spoiling next week for me.

Fuck Dave Meltzer.

Yes, the rational side of me says "He's just reporting news" and all that, and it was fairly obvious.  But still fuck him.

Does anyone (Rippa, since he always knows these things) have the full list of guys from the CWC that have deals in place with WWE going forward?

Maybe spoiler tag it, though, since it could potentially give away some results.

I don't know if it is 100% certain yet.

Like obviously Rich Swann was already under a deal and Noam Dar signed before the deal started.

But all those EVOLVE guys seem to be in a weird space.

I think it would be safe to assume that the 5 guys advertised in the RAW promo are signed and everyone else is up in the air

Tajiri was also rumored to have signed again at some point.

Ciampa and Gargano are both finishing on the Indies this month.
