Well Rich Swann is already under contract and in NXT

Assume the EVOLVE guys like Gulak, Alexander and Perkins would at least be on deals similiar to Ciampa and Gargano's original deals

Both Taijiri and Kendrick are supposedly going to get those veteran deals that Rhyno has worked under

The winner clearly will have been signed

Mascara Dorada (using Gran Metalik in the tournament) has said in interviews that he is still full time in CMLL and he got in because of the recommendation of Finn Balor so he probably will be one of those guys who might sign later but in the short term no

Some of the guys supposedly were not good at all in their matches so the "one offs" might be obvious (and that is counting the couple of guys who got hurt in their first round matches)

It's already been reported before the first taping that Noam Dar is going to the Perfomance Center in September.

I don't know if I had heard that or not, but I assumed that to be the case when he mentioned in one of his vignettes that he showed up to the PC a few days early.

He is my dark horse.  I've never seen him wrestle, but he seems to have everything they could possibly want from a future star.  Zack Sabre Jr. and Kota Ibushi already have recognizable names, and putting Noam Dar over them would make everyone take notice.

It was definitely at least partially a shoot.  They had the one guy from... Chile?  who dropped out/didn't make weight and was replaced.

Actually the Chilean guy made weight. Zumbi (Brazilian) I believe was the one who didn't make it.

I'd imagine they alternates are legit since they're taping multiple episodes at once and wouldn't want some to get a bye if someone were to get injured.

Not sure whether to post this here or in the 2016 Internet Matches thread, but PROGRESS put up both of their CWC qualifying matches in full on YouTube today.

I'm sure there are still some people on this board, who haven't seen them, yet:

Oh shit, if Gallagher is using something from Carmen, does that mean it's public domain?   He can sort of get a remix of it like Bryan did with Flight of the Valkyries?

Maybe, but I think it's more likely that they are just one of the many Indy promotions, who just don't care what they are legally allowed to use.

He's done some TNA appearances as of late, hasn't he?

ETA: Looking on Wiki, he did a couple appearances in NXT, including teaming up with Solow and Sorenson.

I think all the alternates got on NXT TV in some form or at least got a dark match as I know Kai Katana wrestled someone (Tye Dillinger perhaps) in a dark match

I enjoy that per the map - the Bollywood Boyz are from different parts of India

I just realized they just shoved U.S. wrestlers' pics wherever they could, unless Rich Swann moved from Baltimore to the middle of the California coast and Gargano left Cleveland for Colorado (not saying I'd blame either of them).

These are just matches NOT results - still spoiled for the super uptight

Spoiler

Metallik/Saez

Daivari/Ho Ho

Petioit/Alexander

Kendrick/Mendoza

EDIT - and this is assuming they taped in the order they are going to air.

I need this tournament in my veins. It looks like they're doing four episodes, so it's strange that they haven't really pushed how long the competition will be airing as far as I've seen. On the Bracketology special, they pushed the starting date quite a bit, but not really how long the thing would go.
