Ryan Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 In a world where the Canadian destroyer is laughed at, it's totally cool for Kurt Angle to essentially suplex himself. I mean holy fuck, look at it. Benoit waistlocks him and then he does a standing moonsault. Guys go up on most suplexes, he just made it more obvious.
Jiji Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Oh.mygawd. I need to see the rest of that match. Amaaaaaziiiiing! Who, where, and when?
Eivion Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Arisa Nakajima & Tsukasa Fujimoto vs. Misaki Ohata & Ryo Mizunami. Its from 12/31/15 Ice Ribbon. 1
MADCAP Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 A couple of Mid-South finishes: Koko was such a great worker. It's a shame he never really gets his props and people judge him on his work in his later years in WWF. 1
Liam Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 It is also like night and day in terms of his presentation in Mid-South and his presentation in Memphis at the same time. He seems much more exciting in Mid-South for sure.
PetrolCB Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 That's an awesome cross-body into a power slam reversal by Sawyer. I don't think I've never seen anyone do that.
DTTW Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 A couple of Mid-South finishes: Koko was such a great worker. It's a shame he never really gets his props and people judge him on his work in his later years in WWF. Did Koko do anything close to that during his time in the WWF? Even with Owen I don't remember him being all that high flying or athletic.
J.H. Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 When Koko first came in to WWF he had a decent little push and was hyped as a high flyer with a great dropkick. He didn't start jobbign hard until after a year or so. James
Michael Sweetser Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I always heard Koko had major attitude problems, as well.
J.H. Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I remember him having a fun TV match with Macho Man during Savage's IC run on Superstars. It looked like he was going to win but this was also during that period where savage was defending against midcard guys every week like his 2 matches with Billy Jack Haynes, where it lookdlike they were trying to make BJH a contender) James
Infinit Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Holy shit I was just about to post about that IC match vs Savage. Koko was the first guy I ever saw counter Savage's double axe handle to the outside.
MoeCristyV.1.6 Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Why is he letting go after 2,5 though?
MADCAP Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I always heard Koko had major attitude problems, as well. Yeah? I've never heard that. The only story I ever heard about Koko was about him stomping Steve Keirn out in the locker room in Memphis.
thee Reverend Axl Future Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 ...and there is the incredibly sad-making story of thee Death of Frankie I. - RAF
BrianS81177 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Koko bought Kamala a motorized wheelchair that he paid for entirely out of his own pocket, so he's ok with me. 2
Jiji Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 I really wish the '90s didn't kill off the piledriver.
Matt D Posted February 29, 2016 Posted February 29, 2016 Who is that? That is the Mongolian Mauler, who had a cup of coffee in 94 WCW (A match not online is Sting/Dustin/Pillman vs Mauler/Regal/Austin), CMLL (even as part of Vampiro's 92 face turn), SMW (attacking Brian Lee), and Reslo (there's a Regal match out there). Madness.
