Smackdown Spoilers for 10/15/15

* Roman Reigns kicks off SmackDown with an in-ring promo but is interrupted by Bo Dallas.

* Roman Reigns defeated Bo Dallas in a quick match with a spear. Reigns cuts another promo after the match about Hell In a Cell but Bray Wyatt interrupts on the big screen and warns him.

* Cesaro and Neville vs. Sheamus and King Barrett is next. Big pop for Cesaro and lots of heat on Sheamus. Stardust and The Ascension appeared at ringside in the crowd. Stardust had a "Stardust Section" sign mocking Cesaro. Sheamus gets the pin on Cesaro

 

* Summer Rae cuts a promo on Rusev and Dolph Ziggler. She announces she will be special referee for their match tonight.

* Dean Ambrose was interviewed by Byron Saxton and got a big hometown pop.

* WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens defeated Zack Ryder in a quick non-title match. Ryback watched from ringside and stopped Owens from destroying Ryder after the match.

* Backstage segment with Paige and Natalya arguing.

* Dolph Ziggler vs. Rusev with Summer Rae as special referee is next. Ziggler got a huge pop. Summer did a fast count to give Ziggler the win. She got excited and went to celebrate with him after the match but he turned her down.

* Backstage promo with Dean Ambrose and The Dudley Boyz.

* Luke Harper and Braun Strowman defeated The Prime Time Players. Harper took out Titus O'Neil wile Braun choked out Darren Young for the win.

* WWE Divas Champion Charlotte with Becky Lynch defeated Alicia Fox with The Bella Twins in a non-title match. Charlotte won with a Figure Eight. Team Bella beat Becky and Charlotte down after the match but Paige made the save.

* We see Natalya laid out backstage.

* The Dudley Boyz and Dean Ambrose defeated The New Day by DQ when Xavier Woods hit Bubba Ray Dudley with the trombone. Ambrose got a massive hometown pop for his entrance. The New Day takes shots after the match and stand tall to mostly boos. SmackDown ends.

Doesn't sound like a bad show.

Smackdown is much better than Raw these days.  Quicker promos, more cohesive matches, and actual story progress at times.

Nice I get to see Cesaro again. Apparently my conspiracy theory about shoving all the international guys into one feud (along with the "weird guys" as I imagine Vince calling them) is true.

Boredom on a Thursday night off leads to REALTIME SMACKDOWN REPORT 10/15/15

 

Bo is starting to be a bump freak after that Lesnar slaughter. Match was short but he ate a lot of big hits from Reigns, and unsuccessfully tried the Fuerza handshake. Please Reigns just don't talk. 

 

Guess they're trucking out Flair, HBK, Lesnar, and Taker for Raw. Apparently Vince doesn't like those ratings. 

 

King of Bad News! Nice. Cesaro is wearing an arm sleeve that says '(something) uppercut (something)'. Booker calls Sheamus "Scotch-otch", and then Re: his mohawk, "with these young guys it's a different world, King". Yeah, since what, the early '80s? Cesaro monsters up on the hot tag and does a reverse tortillo springboard European uppercut (I never thought I'd put end up putting that line together) but eats a rabbit Bullhammer for the cheap win. These guys have a way, way better and longer match in them. 

 

Dean's bag contents: stolen hoodie, stolen hoodie, stolen Slammy, someone's stolen car keys, Slinky, Magic 8-Ball, balloon animal, Payday bar -- ate with the wrapper on. Piranesi could run wild with the personal significance he has with these items. The Payday reminds me of an old Charles Bukowski anecdote which is just spot on. 

 

Another squash? Okay. Not like Ryder has anything else going for him anyway and Owens looks good doing it. 

 

How fucking stupid was that Raw main? Why would anyone want to bother watching that? For that matter, how can anyone get behind "Bitches Be CRAY-CRAY" and "Bitches Be Scheming" for the umpteenth time? The Divas factions, Rusev, Summer, Lana are all caught up in this shit (I don't really care about Ziggler at all though so I don't mind him being stuck in this storyline hell). Jesus wept.

 

Straun Browman gets a video package! Titus does a Vader Attack! Getting put in a headlock by Harper looks vomit inducing! Shit, Darren Young gets All Japan with a stiff-ass back elbow and an apron neckbreaker! We continue with the squashes but at least this was moderately competitive. Booker: "They need to be not just perfect, but poi-fect." Said for no reason whatsoever. I think Dusty's spirit has possessed the man. 

 

More Booker: "It's a deet!" Que? Damn, that double kick was pretty smashmouth. Charlotte's paintbrushing by the Bellas was mean too. Once again WWE picks someone using a Spear to push. Then we get more crazy Paige crap. 

 

Wow, they didn't B&W the blood on the Summerslam replay. Bet you a million one of the two are gonna bleed in the Cell because they've got the pull... too bad it won't be Wyatt and Reigns. 

 

"One of the great brass percussions of all time" -- holy shit Black Snow's on a roll tonight! New Day stealing from the Beasties is such a perfect match. Dean as Spike to the Dudleys is pretty cool too. Kofi is so revitalized now playing the fool, getting to pull faces, kick his feet when he's picked up, bumping all over the place. We get more blood from Xavier's nose and if he continues the trombone beatdown they're gonna go through a lot of money. A real good 6-man sprint with Dean getting a huge hometown pop. He deserved a dark match after where he beat the crap out of Xavier.
