Hail Sabin Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Steven Wright gets the win for the team and will be sent down to Pawtucket later today as his reward.
Raziel Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Both teams have to turn around and play a 1 today. That game is gonna be a bit ugly.
Raziel Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 A-Rod is playing 1st today. Its going about as well as expected. 1
pipGofern Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I'm surprised. I mean, playing first base isn't that hard. Right Wash? 2
Cristobal Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 "What about the fans?" "Yeah, maybe we can teach one of them to play."
Cobra Commander Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 As a Royals fan, i'm hilariously amused that Kyle Davies is gonna be on the Yankees 25 man roster. Spoiler alert: Davies suuuuuucccckkkkkeeeeeeed in KC. He'll probably relieve in NY so he'll suck slightly less
Niners Fan in CT Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Braves took their first loss too. What the hell is it about Colon. I guess he's just going to eat innings forever and ever.
Cobra Commander Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 also, don't act surprised in August if Mike Trout fights someone on the Royals
Joe Lucia Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Braves took their first loss too. What the hell is it about Colon. I guess he's just going to eat innings forever and ever. And drive in runs.
odessasteps Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Gotta love early season baseball. Saturday, Baltimore scores 7 runs and win. Sunday, they score 7 and lose.
Tabe Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Tigers are 6-0 and continue to score runs in bunches. Miguel Cabrera is hitting .520 - and isn't leading the team.
Craig H Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 The Cubs did indeed ask to start the season away to avoid possible construction issues. This was well before there were even any delays. The reason why they didn't is because the White Sox said no since it would have meant starting the season at home two years in a row. I don't get that logic so I'm going to assume the White Sox were being dicks.
Pete Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Looks like the Yankees are serious about getting home on time tonight with a SEVEN-spot in the bottom of the first.
Nice Guy Eddie Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Looks like the Yankees are serious about getting home on time tonight with a SEVEN-spot in the bottom of the first. Gotta keep the ESPN game at nine innings. Listening to John Kruk and Curt Schilling for nine innings is already bad enough. There's only so much of those two a person can take.
Dolfan in NYC Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 New York Mets Closer Henry Mejía + stanozolol = 80 games off.
RIPPA Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 That probably should be in the Stupid Baseball Players thread. Though it does get him away from the Mets for 80 days so maybe it isn't that stupid
RIPPA Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I wish I could put money on Jose Bautista getting plunked the next time the Jays and Os play
muhammedboehm Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I wish I could put money on Jose Bautista getting plunked the next time the Jays and Os play Can we double down on an Angels/Royals brawl?
RIPPA Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Well and of course the Reds and Cards are going to throw down again
Brian Fowler Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Tigers are 6-0 and continue to score runs in bunches. Miguel Cabrera is hitting .520 - and isn't leading the team. Absurdly small sample size and all that, but they are plus 31 right now. They are outscoring their opponents by a touch over 5 runs a game right now. That's clearly not sustainable, but Cabrera looks healthy and like the best hitter in baseball again.
