Not the most eye-popping card, but IMHO not every UFC event needs to be must watch anyway.  I like the Castro/Fili match-up and Nunes/Bayszler at least.  Not expecting fireworks from Maia/La Flare, but I do think LaFlare is a decent prospect.

Main card isn't to bad.

You get Pepey/Fili, Durinho, Leo Santos, Erick/Kos and Maia, so that's pretty decent.

Brazilian Athletic Commission needs to fucking step in and save itself from further embarrassment.

Herdy should be barred from referring big fights ever again.

Apparently, he is six fights deep into his UFC ref career. Looks like we'll be seeing more Camila Albuquerque and Wernei Cardoso. The latter is the same guy that missed the headbutt in the Formiga/Jorgensen fight last March. He also had a shitty stoppage in the Rony Jason/Siler fight. Lets just say Brazil has a very mixed bag when it comes to referees.

Burns probably should be the fighting guys outside of the top 20 before stepping up to Josh Thomson. The Oliveira fight showed he still has some stuff to work on and tools to develop. Let him fight guys who will give him different looks like tonight, and he will be better for it.

Still can't believe Pepey sub'd Fili and that Burns comeback armbar was awesome.

Trinaldo maybe the first time I remember hearing Brazilians boo one of their own.

Amanda Nunes post fight interview was longer than the first 3 entire fights together.

My favorite Nunes post fight interview was after the de Randamie fight IIRC where she totally ignored the questions just to go off on her own tangent. Charisma transcends language barriers. Also, it gives you a valid excuse to completely ignore questions.

95% of the fighters ignore questions and get cutoff by Rogan.

Counterpoint: Anyone who drops the "I will fight anyone", which is roughly 95% of the active roster, deserves to get cutoff.

not sure what to think about a UFC card in Brazil where the main event starts before 2am Local Time. Guessing the non-decision streak is in risk for the main event?

That's pretty much every UFC card in Brazil though. There was one card last year where guys where getting into the cage at about 2:45 am.

Wait, LaFlare is a purple belt and he was talking that shit about wanting to grapple with Maia?  Maia may be the best grappler in the history of MMA, and this douche thought it was a good idea to grapple with him.
