It's been a week.  I still don't understand how the writers think the Black Scorpion was a Sting character, and not one of his feuds.  Do they not know how to use Google?

 

Even more mind boggling is this: according to Meltzer, the company is afraid to let Sting speak because they think he's a bad promo.  Seriously?  I don't think Sting's a legendary promo guy or anything, but he's probably better than most anyone currently on the roster will ever be.

 

This should be a huge money feud for them and it feels like it's not going to be.  This company is mind-boggling, sometimes.

It goes back to years ago when they had Flair and no one on the writing staff was familiar with him or his history so no one knew how to book him properly. This is the same thing. The writers clearly have no clue who Sting is or was and this is only proven by them not even realizing that Black Scorpion was his enemy. They also probably have no idea of what Sting did in TNA, which is where his promo abilities really took off.
